Appointing Saturday as the Statutory Closing-day in the Town District of Kaitaia.
WHEREAS a poll to determine the statutory closing-day in the Town District of Kaitaia was duly taken under the authority of section 20 of the Shops and Offices Act, 1921–22, on the 17th day of September, 1930 :
And whereas the Clerk of the Town District of Kaitaia has notified me that the majority of the votes given at such poll were in favour of the appointment of Saturday as the statutory closing-day in the said town district :
Now, therefore, I, Sydney George Smith, Minister of Labour, in pursuance of section 20 of the Shops and Offices Act, 1921–22, do hereby appoint Saturday as the statutory closing-day in the said town district as from the 20th day of October, 1930.
