The sections are situated at Lake Rotoiti, and, with the exception of Sections 1 to 8 and 18, which have frontage to main highway, all have a commanding view of the lake. All sections are good building-sites. As Section 18 is situated at the junction of the main highway and Black Valley Road, it is regarded as being suitable for a business-site. This lake is a well-known holiday resort, and is rapidly becoming popular for holiday-makers, campers, and sportsmen. The main highway from Blenheim to West Coast passes the township, and access is therefore by good metalled motor-road. Top-house Post-office is five miles distant. The back portions of Sections 40 to 47 and 49 to 58 are in bush, and consequently are eminently suitable for residential purposes.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 6th day of October, 1930.
