Position : At a distance of 9·8 cables 067° from the Beacon on Sterile Island. Lat. 43° 32¾′ S., long. 147° 1½′ E. Depth, 3½ fathoms.
Details : Less water than charted exists in other positions in the vicinity.

NOTICE No. 3 OF 1930.
SOUTH AUSTRALIA.—SPENCER GULF.—WALLAROO AND TIPARA BAYS.
Long Point Buoy, Removal of.
Approximate position of Long Point buoy : Lat., 34 deg. 1¼ min. S., long. 137 deg. 26¼ min. E.
At a distance of 5 miles 8 cables bearing 302 degrees 30 minutes from the head of Port Hughes jetty.
Masters of vessels, pilots, and others are hereby notified that the red buoy with staff and diamond topmark, moored on the western end of the three (3) fathom edge of the bank extending off Long Point on the northern side of the north entrance to Tipara Bay, will be removed on or about the 20th November, 1930, and will not be replaced.
No further notice will be issued.

SOUTH AUSTRALIA.—SPENCER GULF.—WALLAROO BAY.
Light on Old Jetty : Alteration of Sectors.
Approximate position of light on old jetty head : Lat. 33 deg. 55¾ min. S., long. 137 deg. 36¾ min. E.
Referring to Notices to Mariners, Nos. 5 of 1918 and 6 of 1918, masters of vessels, pilots, and others are hereby notified that the sectors of the above-mentioned light have been altered, and the light now shows red over an arc of 37½ degrees between the bearings of 79 degrees and 116½ degrees; white over an arc of 9 degrees between 116½ degrees and 125½ degrees; and red over an arc of 37 degrees between 125½ degrees and 162½ degrees.
