Revoking the Reservation over Portion of a Scenic Reserve in
the Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
forms portion of a reserve duly set apart for scenic
purposes :
And whereas the said land is no longer suitable for scenic
purposes by reason of the absence of bush of scenic value
thereon:
Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and
exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section eight of
the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act, 1910, do hereby
revoke the reservation for scenic purposes over the land
described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by
admeasurement 193 acres, more or less, being part of Allot-
ment 483, Taupiri Parish, Hapuakohe Survey District,
proclaimed Scenic Reserve, Gazette, 1906, page 1838 : Bounded
towards the north-west by other part Allotment 483, Taupiri
Parish ; towards the east and south generally by Sections ls
and 3s, Tainui Settlement; and towards the south-west by
Allotment 484, Taupiri Parish. As the same is more parti-
cularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 216, deposited
in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wel-
lington, and thereon edged red. (Auckland plan S.O.
25774.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of
September, 1930.

National endowment Land set apart as a Provisional State
Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests
Act, 1921–22, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the
national endowment land described in the Schedule hereto
as a provisional State forest.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—ROTORUA FOREST-
CONSERVATION REGION.
Provisional State Forest No. 85.
ALL that area of national-endowment land in the Auckland
Land District, containing by admeasurement 536 acres, more
or less, being portion of Section 2, Block XIII, Ruawahia
Survey District (formerly portion of Run No. 85), and bounded
generally as follows: Towards the south-east by Rerewhakaitu
No. 1A No. 2 ; towards the south by the southern edge of the
bush ; towards the west by Section 1, Block XIII aforesaid;
and towards the north by Rerewhakaitu No. 1B No. 2B and
No. 1B No. 2A. As the same is more particularly delineated
on plan No. 39/2, deposited in the Head Office of the State
Forest Service, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of
September, 1930.
