TURNOVERS LIMITED.
IN LIQUIDATION.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter of TURNOVERS LIMITED.
NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the shareholders of the above-named company held on Tuesday, the 12th day of August, 1930, the following resolution was passed:—
“ That, as it is proved to its satisfaction that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the company, the company be voluntarily wound up, and that Mr. T. F. OLD be appointed Liquidator.”
Creditors of the above-named company are required, on or before the 4th day of September, 1930, to send their names, addresses, and particulars of their debts or claims to the Liquidator; and, if so required by notice in writing, are to come in and prove their debts or claims, or in default thereof they will be excluded from the benefits of any distribution made before such debts or claims are proved.

MANAWATU-OROUA RIVER BOARD.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Manawatu-Oroua River District Act, 1923, and the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and their amendments, and all other powers (if any) thereunto enabling, the Manawatu-Oroua River Board hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Manawatu-Oroua River District (No. 1 Separate Area) Loan, 1930, of £950, authorized to be raised by the Manawatu-Oroua River Board under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purposes of stop-banking, river-protection, flood-gates, fencing, and planting, the said Manawatu-Oroua River Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one shilling and two pence per acre on all rateable property of the No. 1 Separate Area of the Manawatu-Oroua River Board District, comprising:—
“ Part of Aratangata 2A, containing 30 acres; part of Aratangata 2B, containing 75 acres; part of Aratangata 3, containing 46 acres; parts of Aratangata 4, 490 acres; part Lot 5, D.P. 6290 of Subdivision part Aratangata 4 Block and Patekauwau Block and Lot 3, part Ohinekakeao No. 2, containing 180 acres; part Ohinekakeao No. 2 as shown on D.P. 6103 (containing 105 acres 3 roods 13 perches), and also parts Lots 2, 3, 4 on D.P. 4138 of part No. 1 Ohinekakeao, and parts 1 and 2, Opaekete, containing 590 acres; part of Lot 2 of Ohinekakeao No. 2, containing 75 acres; part Lot 4, D.P. 4297, being part Manawatu-Kukutauaki 7D 1 Nos. 7 and 8 and 7D 3, and parts Takapau Nos. 1 and 2, containing 17 acres, Lot 5, D.P. 4297, containing 50 acres; Lot 13, D.P. 4297, containing 2 acres; part Lot 6, D.P. 4297, containing 25 acres; part Subdivision 3, Akatarawa Block, and part Lot 4, D.P. 9133 of Block 1x, Mount Robinson Survey District, containing 46 acres; Opaekete No. 6 containing 5 acres: As the said separate Area No. 1 is shown on the map of the Moutere and the Mount Robinson Survey Districts signed by F. C. Hay, Civil Engineer, and deposited in the Board’s office, and therein coloured green.”
And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 24th day of January and July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years from the 24th day of July, 1930, or until the loan is fully paid off.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between the undersigned THOMAS HARRIS and WILLIAM ARTHUR LATTIMORE, carrying on business as Alemite and Motor-Service Station Owners at the corner of North and Stafford Streets, Timaru, under the style or firm of “Harris and Co.,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the date hereof.

NOTICE is hereby given that, as from the 15th day of August, 1930, the Partnership hitherto existing between RICHARD HALL and LESLIE DAVID DEACON, as Garage-proprietors, and carried on at Mt. Albert, is dissolved, and the business hitherto carried on by the said partners will, as from the above date, be carried on by the said Leslie David Deacon and one Arthur Butler. All accounts owing to the late Partnership and all debts owing by such Partnership will be respectively collected and paid by the new Partnership of “Deacon and Butler.”

IT is hereby resolved:—
(a) “That the account submitted to this meeting, showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, be received and adopted.”
(b) “That the books, accounts, and documents of the company and of the Liquidator thereof be retained by the said Liquidator, he undertaking to destroy the same at the expiration of five years from the dissolution of the company.”
