Transmitting and Receiving Officer for the Service of Notices
by Telegraph.

Wellington, 16th August, 1930.
IN pursuance of the powers conferred upon me by the Post
and Telegraph Act, 1928 (hereinafter termed "the said
Act"), and by the regulations made on the 12th May, 1914,
and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 21st May, 1914,
the following officer, at the address set against his name, is
hereby appointed Transmitting and Receiving Officer for the
purpose of dealing with all notices by telegraph sent under
the said Act or regulations, and of signing such certificates
in relation to the service of any such notices as are required
or authorized to be signed or given under the said Act or the
regulations aforesaid.

Claims against former Austro-Hungarian Government.
Wellington, 9th August, 1930.
THE arbitrator appointed under clause 4 of the annex to
section IV, Part X, of the Treaty of Trianon, to assess
the amount of claims by British nationals arising out of acts
committed by the former Austro-Hungarian Government or
by any Hungarian authorities since 28th July, 1914, and
before 12th August, 1914, has prescribed that in the case of
claimants resident in New Zealand all such claims must be
lodged with him at 2 Cavendish Square, London, W.I., before
the expiration of five months from the date of publication of
this notice in this Gazette.
All claimants who have claims of the nature mentioned
should forward five copies of their claims to the undersigned
for transmission to the arbitrator. The necessary forms may
be obtained on application to the Public Trustee as Controller
of the New Zealand Clearing Office. The claims should be
lodged by the claimants themselves or by their solicitors or
other duly authorized agents acting for them on their behalf.

Classification of Roads in Rotorua County.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me
by the Transport Department Act, 1929, and the Motor-
lorry Regulations, 1927, and their amendments, I, William
Burgoyne Taverner, Minister of Transport, do hereby approve
of the Rotorua County Council's proposed classification of
the roads or alteration in the classification of the roads
described in the Schedule hereto, and situated in the Rotorua
County.
SCHEDULE.
ROTORUA COUNTY.
Roads classified in the Fourth Class: Available for the use
thereon of any motor-lorry (other than a multi-axled motor-
lorry) which with the load it is carrying weighs not more
than 4½ tons, or any multi-axled motor-lorry which with the
load it is carrying weighs not more than 6½ tons.
Mamaku Village Streets; Ngongotaha Village Streets;
Okere-Hamurana Road; Old Taupo Road; Wai-
manga Road; Wairoa Road.
Roads classified in the Fifth Class: Available for the use
thereon of any motor-lorry (other than a multi-axled motor-
lorry) which with the load it is carrying weighs not more
than 2½ tons, or any multi-axled motor-lorry which with the
load it is carrying weighs not more than 4½ tons.
Arahiwi Road; Basley's Road; Brice's Road; Brett's
Rerewhakaitu Road; Central Road; Clayton Road;
Clinkard's Road; Dalbeth Road; Dansey Road;
Dudley Road; Gee's Road; Hill's Road; Hannon's

Classification of Roads in Mount Roskill Road District.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me
by the Transport Department Act, 1929, and the Motor-
lorry Regulations, 1927, and their amendments, I, William
Burgoyne Taverner, Minister of Transport, do hereby approve
of the Mount Roskill Road Board's proposed classification of
the Hillsborough Road as shown in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
MOUNT ROSKILL ROAD DISTRICT.
ROAD classified in the Third Class: Available for the use
thereon of any motor-lorry (other than a multi-axled motor-
lorry) which with the load it is carrying weighs not more
than 6½ tons, or any multi-axled motor-lorry which with the
load it is carrying weighs not more than 8 tons.
Hillsborough Road.

election of a member of the Taranaki Land Board, in
accordance with the provisions of section 47 of the Land
Act, 1924, and the regulations made thereunder, do hereby
declare that the result of the poll taken on the 14th August,
1930, to be as follows:—

William Sandison ... 131
Total number of valid votes ... 492
Number of votes rejected as informal ... 35
And I do hereby declare that Charles James Ryan, having
received the greater number of valid votes, is duly elected
a member of the Taranaki Land Board as from the 15th day
of August, 1930.

Incorporated Societies Act, 1908.—Declaration by the Assistant
Registrar dissolving a Society.
I, HAROLD BEANLAND WALTON, Assistant Registrar
of Incorporated Societies, do hereby declare that, as it
has been made to appear to me that the Auckland Jewish
Social Club (Incorporated), (1923/17) is no longer carrying on
its operations, the aforesaid society is hereby dissolved in pur-
suance of section 28 of the Incorporated Societies Act, 1908.
