Recreation Reserve in North Auckland Land District brought under Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 18th day of August, 1930.

His EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the North Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be, and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act; and such reserve shall hereafter be known as the Fergusson Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain.

SCHEDULE.

FERGUSSON DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 acres 0 roods 14·3 perches, being Lots 479 and 480 on plan 17735, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan marked L. and S. 1/923, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Order in Council prescribing the Term in respect of the Sum of £10,000 of the Whangarei Borough Council's Loan of £17,400.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 18th day of August, 1930.

Present:

His EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the Whangarei Borough Council (hereinafter called "the said local authority") has been authorized to borrow in respect of a loan to be known as "Waterworks Extension Loan, 1929," the sum of seventeen thousand four hundred pounds whereof the sum of ten thousand pounds has not yet been borrowed:

And whereas the Minister of Finance has given his precedent consent as required by section one hundred and fourteen of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926 (hereinafter called "the said section"), to the borrowing by the said local authority of the said sum of ten thousand pounds for the term herein-after mentioned:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by the said section and by section eleven of the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby prescribe that the said sum of ten thousand pounds or any part thereof may be raised in respect of the said loan by the said local authority for a term not exceeding ten years, and the said local authority is hereby authorized to borrow the said sum accordingly.

Revoking Sanctuary for Imported and Native Game, Parish of Manurewa.

BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section six of the Animals Protection and Game Act, 1921–22, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Warrant made under the said Act on the twentieth day of February,

one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, and gazetted on the twenty-first day of the same month, at page 445, declaring certain areas to be sanctuaries for native and imported game, in so far as that Warrant relates to the area described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, being Sections 51 and 51A, Parish of Manurewa, part of W. Johnstone's Beachlea Downs property.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 18th day of August, 1930.

Inspector of Scenic Reserve appointed.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section four of the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint William Lunt to be an Inspector under the said Act in respect to the scenic reserve described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

WAIHI FALLS SCENIC RESERVE.—HAWKE'S BAY LAND DISTRICT.

SECTION 11, Block XVI, Weber Survey District : Area, 35 acres.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 16th day of August, 1930.

Notice of Intention to issue an Order in Council revoking the Reservation for Recreation Purposes over Part of Allotment 319, Waiwera Parish, North Auckland Land District.

BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.

WHEREAS by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928 (hereinafter referred to as "the said Act"), it is provided that the Governor-General may, from time to time by Order in Council, revoke the reservation over any public reserve or part thereof, and thereupon the land comprised therein shall, if vested in the Crown or in any local authority or trustees deriving title from the Crown, become Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924 :

And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto forms part of a reserve duly set apart for recreation purposes, but is not required for that purpose, and it is expedient to revoke the reservation over the said land:

Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby give notice, pursuant to subsection two of section seven of the said Act, that it is my intention to issue an Order in Council under the provisions of subsection one (b) of section seven of the said Act, declaring that the reservation for recreation purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be cancelled.

SCHEDULE.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, being part of Allotment 319, Waiwera Parish, and containing by admeasurement 2 acres 3 roods 30 perches, more or less. Commencing at a point on a public road, such point being the intersection of the eastern side of the said public road with the northern boundary of Allotment 238, Waiwera Parish, and bounded as follows: Towards the west and north-west generally by the said public road, 750 links and 600 links; towards the east and south-east generally by another part of Allotment 319, Waiwera Parish, 620 links and 585 links ; and towards the south generally by the aforementioned Allotment 238, Waiwera Parish, 185 links, to the point of commencement. Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the
