ERRATA.--In the Proclamation dated the 30th day of July, 1930, and published in New Zealand Gazette, No. 57, of the 7th August, 1930, at page 2399, constituting a district under the Births and Deaths Registration Act, 1924, for "Hokitika and Waimea South Districts" read "Hokitika and Waimea Districts."

In the Schedule to the consent given under the hand of the Hon. the Minister of Public Works, dated the 24th day of July, 1930, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 55, of the 31st day of the same month, at page 2316, consenting to the sale of land by the Tararua Electric-power Board, in the Borough of Eketahuna, under the Electric-power Boards Act, 1925, read "1 rood 22·7 perches" in lieu of "1 rood 23·7 perches."

In the Second Schedule to the Proclamation dated the 4th day of August, 1930, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 57, of the 7th day of the same month, at page 2404, proclaiming land as a road and road closed in Blocks VIII and IX, Noble Survey District, and Block III, Waitohi Survey District, Waipara County, for the description of the area of 3 perches to be closed, read "Adjoining or passing through Rural Sections 32185 and 31479, being part Lot 6, Waitohi Peaks Settlement," in lieu of "Adjoining or passing through Rural Sections 32185 and 31470, being part Lot 6, Waitohi Peaks Settlement."

Revoking the Reservation over a Scenic Reserve in the Canterbury Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by Proclamation dated the nineteenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-eighth

day of that month, the land described in the Schedule hereto was declared to be a reserve under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908:

And whereas the said land is no longer suitable for scenic purposes by reason of the absence of bush of scenic value thereon:

Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section eight of the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act, 1910, do hereby revoke the reservation for scenic purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.
Canterbury Land District.
All that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 41 acres and 5 perches, more or less, and being Reserve Number 3884, situated in Block XV, Four Peaks Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north-east by Clayton Track, 76·9, 1139·9, and 232·9 links; towards the east by Section 4 of Four Peaks Settlement, 754·3 and 938·1 links; towards the south by Reserve Number 3883, 2662·3 links; and again towards the north-west by Section 1 of Four Peaks Settlement, 3034·9 links. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan marked L. and S. 4/17, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 5th day of August, 1930.
