COPY OF RESOLUTION PASSED BY THE DUNEDIN CITY COUNCIL
ON WEDNESDAY, THE 12TH DAY OF FEBRUARY, 1930.

Resolution making Special Rate as Security for Loan of £44,000.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Dunedin
City Council hereby resolves as follows :—

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £44,000, authorized to be raised by the
Dunedin City Council under the above-mentioned Act for
the purpose of providing a fourteen inch water-supply main
from Sullivan Dam to the Beta Street Reservoir, the said
Dunedin City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate
of three-farthings (¾d.) in the pound sterling upon the rateable
value of all rateable property of the City of Dunedin, com-
prising the whole of the City of Dunedin, and that such special
rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency
of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of April
in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being
a period of fifteen years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy
of the resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on the
above-mentioned date.

Making a Special Rate as Security for Special Loan of £200,000.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the
Dunedin City Council hereby resolves as follows :—

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £200,000, authorized to be raised by the
Dunedin City Council under the above-mentioned Act for
the purposes of the Waipori Falls Electrical Power Act, 1904,
the said Dunedin City Council hereby makes and levies a
special rate of three pence (3d.) in the pound sterling upon
the rateable value of all rateable property of the City of
Dunedin, comprising the whole of the City of Dunedin, and
that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during
the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st
day of November in each and every year during the currency
of such loan, being a period of fifteen years, or until the loan
is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy
of the resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on the
above-mentioned date.

NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore
subsisting between us, the undersigned FRANK THOMAS
MCKENDREY and HENRY TEMPEST, in the trade or business
of Fruiterers or Greengrocers, carried on under the style of
“ A.B. (All British) Fruit Company ” at No. 145 Cuba Street,
Wellington, was dissolved on the 1st day of June, 1930, by
mutual consent. All debts due to and owing by the late
firm will be received and paid respectively by the under-
signed Frank Thomas McKendrey, by whom the business is
being carried on as heretofore at the above-mentioned premises
under the style of “ A.B. (All British) Fruit Co.”
