The Western Side of Portion of Dawson Street and the Northern Side of Portion of Young Street, in the Borough of New Plymouth, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 21st day of January, 1930.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the New Plymouth Borough Council on the fifteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, the portions of streets affected by such resolution being more particularly described in the Schedule hereto, viz. :

” That the New Plymouth Borough Council, being the local authority having control of the streets hereinafter mentioned, hereby resolves and declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight, subsection one, of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply—

(a) To that portion of the western side of Dawson Street to which Section 148, New Plymouth, has frontage ;

nor

(b) To that portion of the northern side of Young Street to which Section 148, New Plymouth, has frontage ”;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the western side of the portion of Dawson Street, or fronting the northern side of the portion of Young Street (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-lines of the said portions of streets.

SCHEDULE.

THE western side of all that portion of street situated in the Taranaki Land District, Borough of New Plymouth, known as Dawson Street, fronting Lots 1 and 2 of a subdivision of Section 148, Town of New Plymouth.

Also the northern side of all that portion of street situated in the said land district and borough known as Young Street, fronting Lot 2 of a subdivision of Section 148, Town of New Plymouth.

As the said portions of streets are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 77422, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Putorino Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 21st day of January, 1930.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

Vincent Barry,
James Edward Francis Carter,
Ross Lange,
George Mabey,
Alexander McIntosh,
Albert Ernest Porter, and
Charles Wellwood Reeves

to be the Putorino Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto ; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the twenty-second day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, at two o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Old School Building, Putorino, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

Extending Prohibition of Alienation of certain Native Land other than Alienation in favour of the Crown.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 21st day of January, 1930.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby extend for a further period of six months the Order in Council dated the nineteenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, and gazetted the twenty-first day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, prohibiting all alienation of the Native land specified in the Schedule hereto other than alienation in favour of the Crown.

Extending Prohibition of Alienation of certain Native Land other than Alienation in favour of the Crown.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 21st day of January, 1930.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, and by section one hundred and eleven of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913 (as amended by section eight of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1916), His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby extend for a further period of eighteen months the Order in Council dated the twenty-seventh day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, and gazetted the twenty-seventh day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, prohibiting all alienation of the Native land specified in the Schedule hereto other than alienation in favour of the Crown.
