  1. CLAUSE 13 of the said regulations is hereby amended by omitting therefrom the words “twenty-nine” and substituting the words “thirty-two.”

  2. Clause 16 of the said regulations is hereby amended by omitting the figures “1929” where they appear therein and substituting the figures “1932.”

Cancelling the Reservation over a Reserve in Parish of Kawakawa, North Auckland Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 21st day of January, 1930.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby cancel the reservation as a reserve for cemetery purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

ALLOTMENT 121, Parish of Kawakawa: Area, 34 acres 3 roods 30 perches.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 21st day of January, 1930.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby cancel the reservation as a reserve for a site for the deposit of rubbish over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.

RESERVE 3745, Block II, Lyndon Survey District: Area, 3 roods 28 perches, more or less.

Consent to exercise by Chief Judge of Power of Amendment.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 21st day of January, 1930.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by subsection eight of section seven of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1922, it is enacted that in all cases where an order is dated more than five years previously to the receipt of the application, the Chief Judge of the Native Land Court shall first obtain the consent of the Governor-General in Council before making any order thereunder:

And whereas application has been made under the said section to amend an order of the Native Land Court dated the twenty-fifth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, appointing successors to the interests of Watarawi Paretoroa alias Tamahou Paretoroa (deceased), in Houpoto te Pua No. 2 Block:

Now therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Chief Judge exercising with regard to the said recited order of the twenty-fifth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, all and every the jurisdiction granted to him by the said section seven, and to the making of any such order thereunder as may seem necessary or expedient.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by subsection eight of section seven of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1922, it is enacted that in all cases where an order is dated more than five years previously to the receipt of the application, the Chief Judge of the Native Land Court shall first obtain the consent of the Governor-General in Council before making any order thereunder:

And whereas application has been made under the said section to amend an order of the Native Land Court dated the fourth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, assessing the compensation due in respect of the taking under the Public Works Act, 1908, of part of the Motatau 41 Block for railway purposes:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Chief Judge exercising with regard to the said recited order of the fourth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, all and every the jurisdiction granted to him by the said section seven, and to the making of any such order thereunder as may seem necessary or expedient.

Consenting to Land being taken for the Purpose of a Substation-site in the City of Wellington.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the land described in the Schedule hereto being taken for the purposes of a substation-site.


SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land permitted to be taken: 9·10 perches.

Being Lot 2, D.P. 8437, and being part Section 158 (Town of Wellington R.D.), (City of Wellington). (S.O. 2496.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 77105, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
