Land taken for the Purposes of a Substation-site at Ghuznee Street, in the City of Wellington.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a substation-site, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington, as from the date herein-after mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the tenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 9ยท10 perches. Being Lot 2, D.P. 8437, and being part Section 158. (Town of Wellington R.D.), (City of Wellington). (S.O. 2496.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 77105, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 13th day of January, 1930.

Portion of a Public Reserve set apart for the Purposes of a State Forest in Block II, Lyndon Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the portion of public reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for the purposes of a State forest; and I also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the tenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of public reserve set apart: 100 acres.
Being Reserve No. 4209.
Situated in Block II, Lyndon Survey District (Canterbury R.D.).
In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 77160, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 25th day of January, 1930.

Proclaiming Native Land to have become Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, it is provided, inter alia, that on being satisfied that the purchase of any Native land has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909, the Governor-General may issue a Proclamation that such land has become Crown land:
And whereas the purchase of the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909, and its amendments:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority so conferred upon me by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim that the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has become Crown land.
SCHEDULE.
MOHAKA 51A Block, Waihua Survey District: Approximate area, 37 acres.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 25th day of January, 1930.
