Land proclaimed as ceasing to be set apart as “National-endowment Land.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section three hundred and two of the Land Act, 1924, as amended by section ten of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1926, it is enacted that on the disposal of any national-endowment land by way of sale, or on the acquisition of the fee-simple of any such land, the Governor-General may by Proclamation declare that such land shall, as from a date to be specified in the Proclamation, cease to be national-endowment land :

And whereas the fee-simple of the land described in the Schedule hereto (being land heretofore held under renewable lease) has been acquired, and it is expedient that the said land should cease to be national-endowment land :

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the aforesaid section three hundred and two of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the date specified in the said Schedule the land described in the Schedule hereto, which was set apart as national-endowment land under the provisions of section two hundred and fifty-eight of the Land Act, 1908, ceased to be national-endowment land.

NATIONAL ENDOWMENT.

Auckland Land District.

SECTION 9, Mangati Village: Area, 38·7 perches. Date: 29th October, 1929.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 28th day of January, 1930.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the road in Arnold Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

ROAD CLOSED.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 21 acres 2 roods.

Adjoining Section 1420 and Reserve 34, Block IX, Arnold Survey District.

In the Westland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/439, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2346, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 28th day of January, 1930.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a street the land in the Borough of Lower Hutt described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land proclaimed as a street :—

0 0 1·73 Portion of Section 1, Block LX, Hutt Valley Settlement, and being part Section 77, Block XIV, Belmont Survey District; coloured red.

Situated in the Borough of Lower Hutt (Hutt R.D.).

In the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/3417, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2347, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 28th day of January, 1930.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the North Auckland Main Trunk Railway (Rangiahua Section).

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 3 acres 3 roods 1 perch.

Being portion of road.

Situated in Block V, Omapere Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 24715⁵.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 74543 (sheet 5), deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 25th day of January, 1930.

Allocating to the Purposes of a Road Land in Block XI, Hukerenui Survey District, taken for a Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land which is described in the Schedule hereto—and which was taken for a further extension of the Whangarei-Kamo Railway (Hukerenui Section) and is not now required for such purpose—shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a road, and that such road shall be maintained by the Whangarei County Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land dealt with: 1 acre 1 rood 5 perches.

Being railway land.

Situated in Block XI, Hukerenui Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 25131.)
