Land taken for the Purposes of a Road in Blocks V and VII,
Nuhaka Survey District, Wairoa County.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken:—
A. R. P. Being Portion of
0 0 3 Nuhaka 2A 4A 10 Block, Block VII; coloured pink.
0 0 4 Opoho 4B 1 Block, Block V; coloured purple.
Situated in Nuhaka Survey District (Hawke’s Bay R.D.). (S.O. 967, green.)
In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 78816, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of June, 1930.

Allocating Land reserved and taken for a Railway to the Purposes of a Street in the Borough of Timaru, at Timaru.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms part of the land taken for the purposes of the Waitaki-Bluff Railway, and it is considered desirable to allocate such land to the purposes of a street:
Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section two hundred and twenty-six of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a street, and that the said street shall be under the control of the Timaru Borough Council, and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land: 3 perches, 6·9 perches, and 2 roods 20·5 perches.

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 921, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow; blue, and green.

Proclaiming Native Land to have become Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, it is provided, inter alia, that on being satisfied that the purchase of any Native land has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909, the Governor-General may issue a Proclamation that such land has become Crown land:
And whereas the purchase of the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909, and its amendments:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority so conferred upon me by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim that the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has become Crown land.

Rangitoto-Tuhua 77A 2B Block, containing by admeasurement six thousand three hundred and thirty-three acres eleven decimal one perches (6,333 acres 0 roods 11·1 perches), more or less, situate in Tangitu Survey District, being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificates of title, Vol. 302, folii 229, 230, and 231, of the Taranaki Register-book.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of June, 1930.
