in the Borough of Ohakune.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 6th day
of June, 1930.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE G. W. FORBES, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
I N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon him by the Public Works Act, 1928,
His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of
New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
direct the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto,
such land being no longer required for the public work for
which it was acquired.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land directed to be sold :
2 roods 4 perches.
Being Lot 7, Town of Ohakune Extension No. 5, being part
Section 7, Block VIII, Makotuku Survey District (Borough
of Ohakune). (S.O. 170/44.)
In the Wellington Land District ; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 78767,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Directing Sale of Railway Land at Palmerston North under the
Public Works Act, 1928.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 6th day of
June, 1930.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE G. W. FORBES, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by the thirty-fifth section of the Public
Works Act, 1928 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”),
it is enacted that if it is found that any land held, taken,
purchased, or acquired at any time under this or any other
Act or Provincial Ordinance, or otherwise howsoever, for any
public work is not required for such public work the Governor-
General may, by an Order in Council publicly notified and
gazetted, cause the same to be sold under the conditions set
forth in the said Act :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of
the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the said
Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order
and direct the sale of the land described in the Schedule
hereto.

direct the sale of the stopped Government roads described
in the Schedule hereto.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Pounawea
Domain.
BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 6th day
of June, 1930.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE G. W. FORBES, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains,
and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of
the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
John Hogg,
Frederick Parker,
Adam Paterson, jun.,
Albert Henry Latta, and
Matthew Latta
to be the Pounawea Domain Board, having control of the
land described in the Schedule hereto ; and doth hereby
appoint Monday, the ninth day of June, one thousand nine
hundred and thirty, at half past seven o'clock p.m., as the
time when, and the Public School, Owaka, as the place where,
the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
SCHEDULE.
POUNAWEA DOMAIN.
All that area in the Otago Land District, containing by
admeasurement 13 acres 1 rood 16 perches, more or less,
being Sections Nos. 31, 53, 54, 55, 58, 59, 60, and 61, and an
intersecting closed road, Block VI, Glenomaru Survey Dis-
trict. Bounded towards the north-west, north, and east by
a public road running along the right bank of the Owaka
River ; and towards the south-west by Sections Nos. 62, 57,
56, and 52, being subdivisions of Original Section No. 31,
Block VI aforesaid. As the same is delineated on the plan
marked L. and S. 1/500, deposited in the Head Office, De-
partment of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon
bordered red.
