PUNGAPUNGA RIDING.
All that area in the Auckland and Wellington Land Districts in the Taumarunui County, bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Wanganui River in line with the north-eastern boundary of the Taumarunui Borough; thence along a right line and the north-eastern boundary of the Taumarunui Borough to the northernmost corner of the aforesaid borough; thence easterly generally along the southern boundary of the Taringamotu Riding, hereinbefore described, to the western shore of Lake Taupo; thence southerly and westerly along the boundary of the Taumarunui County, as described in the Waikato and King-country Counties Act, 1921–22, to the point of commencement.

CERTIFICATE.
As required by section 23 of the Counties Act, 1920, I hereby certify that the attached Schedule is a correct description of the proposed alterations of boundaries of ridings in the Taumarunui County, and is sufficient to render the new boundaries capable of identification as indicated by coloured borders on the lithograph submitted by the Taumarunui County Council.

Approval of Fees for Licensing of Motor-vehicles fixed by By-law—Mangonui County Council.

HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased, in terms of section 109 of the Counties Act, 1920, to approve of so much of the by-law made by the Mangonui County Council on the 16th day of April, 1930, as appoints the several sums to be paid to the County Fund for the licensing of vehicles plying for hire.

Crown Land declared to be Settlement Land.

NOTICE is hereby given pursuant to section 20 (3) of the Land Act, 1924, that the undermentioned Crown land shall, as from the date specified in the Schedule hereto, be deemed to be settlement land and to be subject to the provisions of the Land for Settlements Act, 1908.

SCHEDULE.
MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that land in the Marlborough Land District, containing by admeasurement an area of one rood, being Allotment 177 of the subdivision of Section 3, Omaka, Town of Blenheim, bounded as follows: Towards the north 125 links by Charles Street; towards the east 200 links by Allotment No. 176; towards the south 125 links by Allotment No. 313; and towards the west 200 links by Allotment No. 178; Be all the aforesaid linkages a little more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on a plan marked L. and S. 6/1/291, deposited in the Head Office of the Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

PURSUANT to the provisions of the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, I hereby notify that the undermentioned land, being the land known as Welburn Settlement, which has been acquired under the said Act, is subject to the said Act as from 7th November, 1929.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.—WELBURN SETTLEMENT.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 569 acres 2 roods 11 perches, more or less, and being Rural Sections Nos. 6689, 7017, 8431, 8432, 9564, 11135, and parts 7717, 7730, 7731, 8116, and 9013, situated in Blocks X, XIII, and XIV, Leeston Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north-west and north generally by Rural Sections Nos. 10427, 11244, 5567, and 7098; towards the north-east by Hanmer Road; towards the south-east by Rural Section No. 5852 and Harman's Road; towards the south-west generally by other part of Rural Section No. 7717 and Lots 5 and 2, deposit plan No. 747; and again towards the west by Rural Section No. 7770; save and except thereout Lot 4 on said deposit plan No. 747 and the public roads intersecting the above-described area. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 21/149/757, deposited under No. 2376, in Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
