MEDICAL REGISTRATION.
I, HUGH STUART FLEMING, M.B., Ch.B., Univ. Otago,
1929, now residing in Wanganui, hereby give notice
that I intend applying on the 1st June next to have my name
placed on the Medical Registrar of the Dominion of New
Zealand; and that I have deposited the evidence of my
qualification in the office of the Department of Health at
Wellington.

NOTICE OF CHANGE OF NAME.
I, CHARLES GORDON PRENTER, heretofore called and
known by the name of CHARLES GORDON BAKER,
hereby give public notice that on the 15th day of March,
1930, I formally and absolutely renounced, relinquished, and
abandoned my former name “Charles Gordon Baker,” and
then assumed and adopted, and determined thenceforth on
all occasions whatsoever to use and subscribe the name of
“Charles Gordon Prenter” instead of the name of “Charles
Gordon Baker”; and I give further notice that by a deed
poll dated the 15th day of March, 1930, duly executed and
enrolled in the Auckland Registry of the Supreme Court of
New Zealand on the first day of May, 1930, I formally and
absolutely renounced and abandoned the said name of
“Charles Gordon Baker,” and declared that I had assumed
and adopted, and intended thenceforth upon all occasions
whatsoever to use and subscribe the name of “Charles
Gordon Prenter,” instead of the name of “Charles Gordon
Baker,” and so as to be at all times thereafter known or
described by the name of “Charles Gordon Prenter” exclusively.

UNDERWOOD, GOODMAN, AND BLACKETT, LTD.
IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter

At an extraordinary general meeting of the shareholders
of the above-named company held at the registered
office of the company at Wakefield Chambers, Wakefield
Street, Wellington, on Tuesday, the 22nd day of April, 1930,
the following resolutions were passed:
- “That the company go into voluntary liquidation owing
to insufficient capital to satisfactorily carry on.” - “That HAROLD JACK UNDERWOOD, of Wellington, be

matter of THE NATIONAL PORTLAND CEMENT COMPANY,

BY an order made by the Honourable Sir Michael Myers,
Chief Justice of New Zealand, in the above matter,
dated the 1st day of May, 1930, on the petition of James
Costello, of Cape Foulwind, near Westport, in New Zealand,
Hotelkeeper, a contributory of the above-named company,
it was ordered that the said the National Portland Cement
Company, Limited, be wound up by this Court under the
provisions of the Companies Act, 1908, and that the costs
of the petitioner and of the said company be taxed and paid
out of the assets of the said company.

OTOROHANGA COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
Rangiatea School Road Special-rating Area Loan, £500.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the
Otorohanga County Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £500, authorized to be raised by the
Otorohanga County Council under the above-mentioned Act,
for the purpose of reforming, culverting, and metalling approximately
two miles from the Otorohanga-Maihiihi Road to
Lurman's Road, the said Otorohanga County Council hereby
makes and levies a special rate of two pence in the pound
upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the
Rangiatea School Road Special-rating Area, as described in
the Schedule hereto, and that said special rate shall be an
annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and
be payable yearly on the 1st day of October in each and
every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of
twenty years, or such shorter period as may be determined
by the Council, or until the loan is fully paid off.
