Section 275 : Area, 50 acres. Upset price, £20.
Sections situated approximately eight miles from Tauranga Township and railway-station ; three miles from Cambridge Road ; school and cream stand two miles distant.
Comprise poor land, broken by deep gorges, with portions of easy to steep faces.
At present covered with stunted manuka, and gorse spreading rapidly. These areas would prove suitable to work with sections held in the locality.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
FIRST-CLASS LAND.
Waikato County.—Komakorau Parish.
(For Sale for Cash or on Deferred Payments.)
SECTION 131 : Area, 100 acres. Upset price, £530.
Mixed-farming proposition, situated on McKenzie’s Road, approximately two and a half miles from Komakorau School and seven miles from Taupiri Railway-station, post-office, and dairy factory ; six miles by metalled road, balance clay and sand road. Ngaruawahia Saleyards are eight miles distant.
Approximately 40 acres undulating land of fair quality, of which approximately 8 acres are in fair grass, 16 acres run-out grassing, 16 acres ploughed and fallow, 6 acres in fern and scrub, the balance of the section being peat swamp (woody in parts) in tea-tree and rushes.
Section very free of noxious weeds, there being a few small patches of blackberry in evidence. No permanent water at present, but a supply can be obtained by boring.
Waikato County.—Te Kauwhata Suburbs.
Sections 6 and 12 : Area, 8 acres 1 rood 29 perches. Upset price, £120.
Weighted with £270, for improvements comprising new four -roomed dwelling (unfinished), 38 chains road and boundary fencing, and approximately 6½ acres felled and surface sown in rye-grass. This amount must be paid in cash.
Sections situated on the Te Kauwhata – Waerenga Road, approximately half a mile from Te Kauwhata Township, post-office, school, and railway-station. Suitable for grape culture and fruit-farming, the sections comprising undulating land of fair quality, all ploughable, formerly wattle plantation.
Waikato County.—Whangamarino Parish.
Section 304 : Area, 36 acres. Upset price, £40.
Section is situated on the north bank of the Waikato River, five and a half miles from Mercer Railway-station, two miles Main South Road, and three and a half miles river-bank road (roughly formed and subject to floods).
Level land of good quality, being alluvial river-flat, covered with kahikatea saplings, cabbage-trees, small pukatea, and tea-tree with niggerhead rushes and blackberry. Well watered by the Waikato River. This section would provide good summer grazing, but is unsuitable for use as a separate farm, and it is subject to frequent flooding.
SECOND-CLASS LAND.
Waikato County.—Taupiri Parish.
Sections 274 and 275 : Area, 69 acres 3 roods 20 perches. Upset price, £35.
Situated in the Whangamarino Valley, about twelve miles from Ohinewai Railway-station, store, and post-office, eight miles being by metalled road ; balance unformed. Waiterimu School is four miles distant.
Section comprises hilly fern and tea-tree land, with shallow swamps, broken by gullies. Portions have been ploughed and grassed, but have now reverted to natural state. Soil of a light nature, resting on clay formation ; poorly watered by springs.
SETTLEMENT LAND.—FIRST-CLASS LAND.
Matamata County.—Tapapa Survey District.—Tapapa Settlement.
Section 14s, Block XI : Area, 11 acres 0 roods 3 perches. Upset price, £110.
Tapapa Settlement is situated about two and a half miles from Hinuera Railway-station, school, store, and post-office. The section comprises mostly ploughable, level to undulating land, broken by terrace ; the soil being of a light sandy nature on pumice sand formation. Could be worked to advantage in conjunction with an adjoining holding.

Unclaimed Land in the Pirongia District, Auckland Land District.

IN pursuance of the powers conferred upon me by section twenty-two of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1921–22, I hereby give notice that on or after the first day of September, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, it is my intention to issue a Proclamation declaring the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
Town of Alexandra East.
SECTION 98A, containing 2 roods, and Sections 136, 150, and 223, containing 1 acre each.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section three of the Masseurs Registration Act, 1920, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Louise Elizabeth Brandon, A.R.R.C., N.Z.R.N., I.S.T.M., to be a member of the Masseurs Registration Board under the aforesaid Act.
