PART II.
INTERPRETATION OF TERMS USED IN PART I OF THIS SCHEDULE.
(a) In Part I of this Schedule, the terms used have the meanings (if any) assigned to them in the Motor-vehicles Act, 1924:
(b) The following terms, used in Part I of this Schedule, and not defined in the Motor-vehicles Act, 1924, have the meanings herein assigned to them, namely,—
“Public motor-vehicle” means a motor-vehicle used for the carriage of persons for hire or reward (including a motor-vehicle hired to any person who himself drives or provides a driver), but does not include a motor-cycle, or a contract motor-vehicle as hereinafter defined:
“Contract motor-vehicle” means a motor-vehicle used for the carriage for hire or reward of school-children going to or returning from school, either with or without teachers or other escorts, or used for the carriage for hire or reward of particular individuals (including clubs or parties of individuals), but never used or available for the carriage for hire or reward of the general public.

Revoking the Vesting in the Hawke’s Bay County Council of the Control of a Reserve for a Resting-place for Travelling Stock in Block XVI, Puketapu Survey District, Hawke’s Bay Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 14th day of April, 1930.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by an Order in Council dated the second day of July, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, and published in the Gazette of the fifth day of that month, the control of certain travelling-stock reserves in the Hawke’s Bay Land District was vested in the Hawke’s Bay County Council, pursuant to section two of the Public Reserves and Domains Amendment Act, 1914:
And whereas it is expedient that the said Order in Council should be revoked in so far as it relates to the land described in the Schedule hereto:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section seventeen of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby revoke the said Order in Council in so far as it relates to the land described in the Schedule hereto.
