Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Tirau Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 7th day of April, 1930.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

James William Anderson,
Samuel John Bear,
Norman Horscroft,
Ernest William Jordan, and
Harman William Kuhtz

to be the Tirau Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Monday, the twenty-eighth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Library, Tirau, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

TIRAU DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 8 acres 0 roods 12 perches, more or less, being Lot 1 of Section 12, Lot 1 of Section 2, and Section 11, Block II, Patetere North Survey District: Bounded towards the north by Rotorua–Cambridge Road, 775·5 links; towards the east by a public road, 1062·6 links; towards the south by Section 3, Block II, Patetere North Survey District, 781·4 links; and towards the west by Lot 2 of Section 2, and Lot 2 of Section 12, Block II, Patetere North Survey District, 1098·4 links: be all the aforesaid linkages a little more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/337, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

James McClure Darragh,
Francis Joseph Ellery,
Hugh Llewellyn Jones, and
Ernest James Munro

to be the Gate Pa Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Friday, the second day of May, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the residence of Mr. H. L. Jones, Gate Pa, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

GATE PA DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing 7 acres 1 rood 6 perches, more or less, being Sections 41, 41A, and 42, Suburbs of Tauranga. Bounded towards the north-east by Section 40; towards the south-east by Cameron Road; towards the south-west by Pa Street; and towards the north-west by Cook Street.

Also all that area in the Auckland Land District, containing 5 acres 0 roods 29 perches, more or less, being Lot 2 of Section 13, Suburbs of Tauranga. Bounded towards the north-west by Cameron Road, 364·9 links; towards the north-east by Section 12, Suburbs of Tauranga, 1000 links; towards the south-east by Section 14, Suburbs of Tauranga, 860·9 links; towards the south-west by a public road 100 links wide, 296·4 links; again towards the north-west and south-west by Lot 1 of Section 13, Suburbs of Tauranga, 200 and 541·1 links respectively.

Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same are delineated on the plans marked L. and S. 1/104, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (Auckland plans 441 and 18486, blue.)
