WELLINGTON, THURSDAY, APRIL 10, 1930.

ERRATA.—In a Warrant dated 4th March, 1930, approving, in terms of the Motor-vehicle (Supplementary) Regulations, 1928, of the Philips “Duplo” Double-filament Lamp for Headlights used on Motor-vehicles, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 17, of the 6th March, 1930 (page 706), for the word “Phillips” wherever used in the Warrant read “Philips.”

In New Zealand Gazette, No. 20, of the 20th March, 1930, “Settlement Land set apart for Disposal by way of Sale or Lease to Discharged Soldiers, under Special Tenures, in the Auckland Land District,” page 786, for “Te Papa Settlement” read “Tapapa Settlement.”

In the tenth line of the Schedule to the Proclamation dated the 26th day of March, 1930, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 22, of the 27th day of the same month, altering the boundaries of the Central Electric-power District, read “3rd day of December, 1925,” for “3rd day of December, 1926.”

Attention is hereby drawn to an error contained in the proviso to paragraph 19 of the regulations for trout, perch, or tench fishing in the North Canterbury Acclimatization District, published on page 1489 of the New Zealand Gazette, No. 41, of the 30th May, 1929. The proviso should read :

“Provided that nothing herein contained shall prevent the placing of any net other than a stake net in or across the parts of the rivers mentioned in the Second Schedule hereto for the purpose of taking indigenous fish by such means or render any person liable for so doing.”


Settlement Land in Westland Land District proclaimed to be Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section forty-nine of the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, it is enacted that the Governor-General may by Proclamation declare any lands acquired under that Act to be, inter alia, ordinary Crown lands available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924:

And whereas it is deemed expedient that the land described in the Schedule hereto, and which was acquired under the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, shall cease to be settlement land and become ordinary Crown land for disposal under the Land Act, 1924:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities so conferred upon me by the aforesaid section forty-nine, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the date of the gazetting hereof the land described in the Schedule hereto, which was acquired under the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, shall be Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.


SCHEDULE.

WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT.

Mawheraiti Survey District (acquired as Part of Raupo Settlement).

ALL that parcel of land in the Westland Land District containing by admeasurement 124 acres 2 roods 24·5 perches, more or less, comprised in Sections 15, 16, and 17, situated in Blocks IX and XIII, Mawheraiti Survey District.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 3rd day of April, 1930.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Western Railways to take further land at Thornbury, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:

Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land
