NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the members of the above-named company, duly convened and held at Auckland on the 26th day of February, 1930, the resolution firstly below mentioned was duly passed as an extraordinary resolution, and that at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting held at the same place on the 17th day of March, 1930, that the same resolution was duly confirmed as a special resolution, and the resolution secondly below mentioned was at the same meeting passed as an ordinary resolution.

HOWICK TOWN BOARD.
COPY OF RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE MADE BY THE HOWICK TOWN BOARD ON THURSDAY, THE 6TH MARCH, 1930.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Howick Town Board hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £9,340, authorized to be raised by the Howick Town Board under the above-mentioned Act for the installation of pumping and chlorination plants, well, delivery main, reservoir reticulation mains, with all necessary hydrants, tees, valves, and other fittings, and house connections, the said Howick Town Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 73/80 of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Howick Town District, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

COPY OF RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE MADE BY THE HOWICK TOWN BOARD AT ITS MEETING HELD ON THURSDAY, THE 6TH MARCH, 1930.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Howick Town Board hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £4,271, authorized to be raised by the Howick Town Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of concreting Panmure–Howick Highway, including necessary regrading and draining, and also for purpose of purchasing material for and spreading same on detour roads during concreting of main road, the said Howick Town Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one half-penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Howick Town District, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
