NOTICE OF CHANGE OF SURNAME.
I, ROBERT WELTON-HOGG, of the City of Wellington, New Zealand, Medical Practitioner, heretofore called by the name of ROBERT WELTON HOGG, hereby give notice that on the 5th day of March, 1930, I renounced and abandoned the use of my said surname of “Hogg,” and assumed in lieu thereof the surname of “Welton-Hogg”; and, further, that such change of name is evidenced by a deed poll dated the 5th day of March, 1930, duly executed by me, and attested and enrolled in the office of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, at Wellington.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
THE Partnership hitherto existing between us in respect of the business of Orchardists, carried on at Te Kau-whata as “Masson and Masson,” has been dissolved by mutual consent. The business will henceforth be continued by Henry John Masson alone under the above firm name at the same address, and he will pay all outstanding liabilities owing by and collect all moneys due to the late firm.

TARANAKI COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
Maude Road Special-rating District Loan (1929) of £200.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Taranaki County Council hereby resolves as follows :—
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Taranaki County Maude Road Special-rating District Loan (1929) of £200, authorized to be raised by the Taranaki County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of forming and metalling the Maude Road, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of four and five-eights pence (4½d.) in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Maude Road Special-rating District of the County of Taranaki, being Sections 19, 12, 18, 17, Block 6, Egmont Survey District, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly passed at a properly constituted meeting of the Council held on the 3rd day of March, 1930.

Union Road Special-rating District Loan (1929) of £215.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Taranaki County Council hereby resolves as follows :—
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Taranaki County Union Road Special-rating District Loan (1929) of £215, authorized to be raised by the Taranaki County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of metalling the Union Road, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one and three-eighths pence (1⅜d.) in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Union Road Special-rating District of the County of Taranaki, being Sections Lot 2, Part 87, Sections 88, 89, Sub. 2, Part 86, Lot 1 of 87, Sections 25 and 24, Block 6, Paritutu Survey District, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
