Abolishing Warden’s Court at Orepuki.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 11th day of March, 1930.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon him by the Mining Act, 1926, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby abolish the Warden’s Court at Orepuki.

Authorizing the Laying-off of a Street in the City of Wellington of a Width of less than 66 ft. but not less than 40 ft., subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 11th day of March, 1930.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the Wellington City Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto of a width of less than sixty-six feet, but not less than forty feet, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land marked Lot 1 on the plan referred to in the Schedule hereto (being part Lot 31, D.P. 1029) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said street.

SCHEDULE.

THAT proposed street in the Wellington Land District, City of Wellington, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 4·4 perches, more or less, being Lot 54, D.P. 1029. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 74622, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Authorizing the Exchange of a Reserve in Block XVI, Mangaoporo Survey District, Gisborne Land District, for other Land.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 11th day of March, 1930.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the First Schedule hereto is a reserve duly set apart for public buildings: And whereas it is expedient that the said land should be exchanged for the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, which the Administrator of the Government deems at least of equal value and more suitable for the purposes of the reserve:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section eight of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto may be exchanged for the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

DESCRIPTION OF RESERVE AUTHORIZED TO BE EXCHANGED.

ALL that area in the Gisborne Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 28 perches, more or less, being Section No. 13, Block XVI, Mangaoporo Survey District: Bounded towards the north by Section 14, 426·8 links; towards the east by Section (15), 70·7 links; towards the south by Manutahi (A 13), 455·6 links; and towards the west by a public road, 126·1 links: Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/3/320A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

DESCRIPTION OF LAND TO BE OBTAINED IN EXCHANGE THEREFOR.

ALL that area in the Gisborne Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 31·9 perches, more or less, being Section No. 1, Block XVI, Mangaoporo Survey District: Bounded towards the north by a public road, 284·7 links; towards the east by Section (2), 272·8 links; towards the south-west by Manutahi (1b4), 384·0 links; and towards the west by a public road, 34·9 links: Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/3/320A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Amending Regulations under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend in the manner set forth in the Schedule hereto the regulations under the said Act (hereinafter referred to as “the said regulations”) made on the eighth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, and on the tenth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven, and published in the Gazettes of the eighteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, and the thirteenth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven.

SCHEDULE.

THE said regulations are hereby amended by adding at the end of clause 12 thereof the following proviso:—

Provided that where the price so determined has been reduced by revaluation under any lawful authority in that behalf the price of the fee-simple shall be the reduced value as determined pursuant to such revaluation.
