TAHUNANUI TOWN BOARD.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the
Tahunanui Town Board hereby resolves as follows:-

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and sinking
fund on a loan of £3,210, authorized to be raised by the
Tahunanui Town Board under the above-mentioned Act for
bituminous penetration of the main highway through the
Town District, stabilizing the sea-wall, and drainage of Main
Road, the said Tahunanui Town Board hereby makes and
levies a special rate of one-half penny in the pound upon the
capital value on all rateable property in the town district,
and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate
during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly
on the first day of September and the first day of March in
each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a
period of fifteen (15) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

IN LIQUIDATION.

NOTICE is hereby given that a meeting of shareholders
will be held at the office of Messrs. Webb, Richmond,
Cornish, and Swan, 235 Lambton Quay, Wellington, at noon
on Thursday, the 6th March, 1930, for the purpose of receiving
the Liquidator's account, showing the manner in which the
winding-up has been conducted and the assets of the company
disposed of, and for the purpose of receiving the Liquidator's
explanation thereof.

All the assets and liabilities of this company have been
taken over by a new company incorporated in New Zealand
under the name "Woolworths (New Zealand) Limited," and
this company is now carrying on business in New Zealand,
its registered office being at Number 110 Cuba Street,
Wellington.

THE HIGHT SELF-STARTER SHEARING-MACHINE COMPANY
LIMITED, registered under the Companies Act, 1908,
at an extraordinary meeting of shareholders held on the 17th
day of February, 1930, passed the following special resolution:-

"That the company, through insufficient capital, is unable
to carry out its objects, and it is considered advisable for the
company to wind up its affairs."

All claims that may be made against the company to be
lodged under proof of debt with the Liquidator on or before
the 14th day of March, 1930, at 95-97 Yorkshire House,
Shortland Street, Auckland.
