This license does not authorize the holder thereof to take
or kill red-deer stags or hinds on lands actually and exclusively
used by any registered acclimatization society for acclimatiza-
tion purposes, or on any sanctuary or public domain, or on
any land excepted from the operation of the notification
declaring an open season for the district.

SEVENTH SCHEDULE.
License to take or kill Imported Game (Deer).
, of , having this day paid the sum of £2, is
hereby authorized to take or kill fallow-deer bucks and does
within that part of the Lakes District Acclimatization Dis-
trict known as the Greenstone and Caples Valleys and the
country from Bobs Cove to Lake Dispute, thence to Ben
Lomond and One-mile Creek, from the 15th day of March,
1930, to the 31st day of May, 1930 (both days inclusive),
subject to the provisions of the Animals Protection and Game
Act, 1921–22, and all regulations and notifications affecting
fallow deer bucks and does made thereunder and in force
within the said district.
This license does not authorize the holder thereof to take or
kill fallow deer bucks or does on lands actually and exclusively
used by any registered acclimatization society for acclima-
tization purposes, or on any sanctuary or public domain, or

and does within that part of the Lakes District Acclimatiza-
tion District known as Rees Valley, Kinlock and Caples,
Upper Wakatipu, from the 15th day of March, 1930, to the
31st day of May, 1930 (both days inclusive), subject to the
provisions of the Animals Protection and Game Act, 1921–22,
and all regulations and notifications affecting Virginian deer
bucks and does made thereunder and in force within the said
district.
This license does not authorize the holder thereof to take
or kill Virginian deer bucks or does on lands actually and
exclusively used by any registered acclimatization society for
acclimatization purposes, or on any sanctuary or public
domain, or on any land excepted from the operation of the
notification declaring an open season for the district.

Open Season for Deer (Moose) Shooting, Southland Acclimati-
zation District (Fiordland National Park).
IN exercise of the powers vested in me by the Animals
Protection and Game Act, 1921–22, I, Philip Aldborough
de la Perrelle, Minister of Internal Affairs of the Dominion of
New Zealand, do hereby declare the period from the 1st day of
March, 1930, to the 31st day of May, 1930 (both days
inclusive), to be an open season in the Southland Acclima-
tization District for the taking or killing of the following
imported game—viz., moose bulls and cows—within that
part of the said acclimatization district described in the First
Schedule hereto, subject to the following conditions.
CONDITIONS.
-
One license to take or kill moose bulls and cows may be issued
by the Chief Postmaster, Invercargill, on the recommendation
of the Secretary of the Southland Acclimatization Society, on
payment of a license fee of £30, in the form prescribed in the
Second Schedule hereto, and subject to the said Act and
regulations thereunder and this notification. -
No licensee shall allow any dog to accompany either him-
self or any attendant he may have with him. -
Nothing herein contained shall extend to authorizing
any person to sell any moose or portion thereof. -
The fee paid for the license issued pursuant to this notifi-
cation shall, after deducting the cost of and incidental to the
issue of such license, and any other expenses in connection
therewith, be paid to the Department of Tourist and Health
Resorts and the Southland Acclimatization Society in equal
proportions. -
Any person committing a breach of any of these condi-
tions is liable on conviction to a fine of £20.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
Block No. 1.
All that portion of the Southland Acclimatization District
being the valley of the Seaforth River.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
License to take or kill Imported Game (Moose).
, of , having this day paid the sum of £30,
is hereby authorized to take or kill moose bulls and cows
in the area described in the endorsement hereon from the
1st day of March, 1930, to the 31st day of May, 1930 (both
days inclusive), subject to the provisions of the Animals Pro-
tection and Game Act, 1921–22, and all regulations and notifi-
cations affecting moose deer made thereunder and in force
within the Southland Acclimatization District.
Dated at this day of , 1930.
ENDORSEMENT.
Area to which License relates.
All that portion of the Southland Acclimatization District
being the valley of the Seaforth River.

PURSUANT to the powers vested in me by the Animals
Protection and Game Act, 1921–22, and the regulations
thereunder, I, Philip Aldborough de la Perrelle, Minister of
Internal Affairs of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
cancel the Registration of the Coromandel Acclimatization
Society.
