ERRATUM.—In the Proclamation dated 4th May, 1912,
taking additional land at Te Awamutu for the purposes
of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway, and published in the
New Zealand Gazette, No. 43, of 16th May, 1912, in the
Schedule, for “7 acres 0 roods 0 perches, being portion of
Allotments 70, 70A, 62A, 73A” read “6 acres 1 rood 8 perches,
being portion of Allotments 70, 70A, 62A, and 73A,” and
“2 roods 32 perches, being portion of Allotment 69,” and
in the Proclamation, for “coloured purple” read “coloured
purple and blue.”

Time for taking Census.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by the Census and Statistics Act, 1926, it is,
among other things, provided that an account shall be
taken in the year one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one,
and in every fifth year thereafter, of the number of persons
within the Dominion, together with particulars of the dwellings
in which residing and other particulars relating thereto:
And whereas by the said Act it is enacted that such account
shall be taken on a day appointed by Proclamation:

Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pur-
suance and exercise of the power and authority in me vested
by the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that such
account shall be taken in the month of April, one thousand
nine hundred and thirty-one, on Wednesday, the twenty-
second day of the said month, and for the night of Tuesday,
the twenty-first day of the said month,

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 3rd day of
February, 1930.

Land reserved under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted
pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (here-
after referred to as “the said Act”), has recommended that
the land described in the Schedule hereto should be per-
manently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient
to give effect to such recommendation:

Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pur-
suance and exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act,
do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in
the Schedule hereto shall be a scenic reserve under the said
Act, and subject to the provisions thereof.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Nelson Land District containing 8 acres
2 roods 37 perches, more or less, being Sections 100 to 104,
Village of Bulwer, Block VI, French Pass Survey District;
as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked L. and S. 4/266, deposited in the Head Office, Depart-
ment of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon
bordered blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of
February, 1930.
