WANGANUI COUNTY COUNCIL.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LANDS.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the Wanganui County Council to take, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, the lands described in the Schedule hereto for the purpose of widening the Auckland-Wellington Main Highway for the better enjoyment thereof: And notice is hereby further given that a copy of the plan showing the lands required to be taken for the said purpose, with the names of the owners and occupiers of such lands, is deposited at the office of the Wanganui County Council in Campbell Place, in the City of Wanganui, and is there open to inspection to all persons at all reasonable hours: And notice is hereby further given that all persons affected shall, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such lands, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice—namely, the 13th day of February, 1930—to the Wanganui County Council at its office aforesaid.

NOTICE is hereby given that an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders in the above company was held on the 12th day of December, 1929, at the office of the company, Chancery Chambers, O'Connell Street, Auckland, and the following extraordinary resolution passed:

“ That it is proved to its satisfaction that J. W. MORGAN, LIMITED, cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and that Messrs. MORRIS, DUNCAN, AND GYLLIES, of Auckland, Public Accountants, be and are hereby appointed Liquidators for the purpose of such winding-up.”

NOTICE is hereby given that an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders in the above company was held on the 18th day of December, 1929, at the office of the company, Chancery Chambers, O'Connell Street, Auckland, and the following extraordinary resolution passed:

“ That it is proved to its satisfaction that THE TERRACE GOLD-DREDGING COMPANY, LTD., cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same.”

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter of CRAMP AND COMPANY, LIMITED.

NOTICE is hereby given that by an entry in the minute-book of the above-named company on the 5th day of February, 1930, signed by the necessary number of shareholders holding the requisite number of shares, and taking effect as a special resolution under section 168, subsection 6, of the Companies Act, 1908, it was resolved:

“ That CRAMP AND COMPANY, LIMITED, be forthwith wound up voluntarily, and that Mr. H. SANDLANT be appointed Liquidator.”

NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of shareholders of the above private company, held on the 6th day of February, 1930, the following extraordinary resolution was carried:

“ That it is proved to the satisfaction of the company that it cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue to carry on its business, and it is advisable to wind up the same, and for this purpose the company resolves to go into voluntary liquidation; and that BRENT LLEWELLYN BAGNALL, of Auckland, Public Accountant, be and is hereby appointed Liquidator for such purpose.”

NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of sections 230 and 252 of the Companies Act, 1908, that a general meeting of the members of the above-named company will be held at 40 Hallenstein's Buildings, Queen Street, Auckland, on Monday, 3rd March, 1930, at 10 o'clock a.m., for the purpose of having an account laid before them showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidator, and also of determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company and of the Liquidator thereof shall be disposed of.
