Members appointed to Mount Balloon Hut Scenic Board.

CHARLES FERGUSSON, Governor-General.

WHEREAS by a Warrant dated the ninth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, and published in the Gazette of the twelfth day of that month, the control of a certain reserve in the Nelson Land District, known as the Mount Balloon Hut Scenic Reserve, was vested in certain persons therein named, who were by the said Warrant constituted a special Board by the name of the Mount Balloon Hut Scenic Board, in pursuance of section thirteen of the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908: And whereas it is desirable that Jonathan Taylor Brough, Leslie Walter Tiller, and John Reginald Grigg should be appointed members of the said Board in place of David Alfred Bathgate, Alfred Philpott, and James Alfred Wallace, left the district:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by section thirteen of the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby appoint the said

Jonathan Taylor Brough,
Leslie Walter Tiller, and
John Reginald Grigg

to be members of the Mount Balloon Hut Scenic Board constituted by the Warrant dated the ninth day of August hereinbefore referred to in place of the said David Alfred Bathgate, Alfred Philpott, and James Alfred Wallace, left the district; and in pursuance of the said section thirteen doth hereby appoint

George Charles Cecil Black, M.P.

as an additional member of the Board.

Member appointed to Hundalee Scenic Reserves Board.

WHEREAS by a Warrant dated the twenty-sixth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven, and gazetted on the first day of December, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven, the control of certain lands in the Marlborough Land District known as the Hundalee Scenic Reserves was vested in certain persons who were by the said Warrant constituted a special Board by the name of the Hundalee Scenic Reserves Board, in pursuance of section thirteen of the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908: And whereas it is desirable that Hugh Edwin Kennett, should be appointed a member of the said Board:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by section thirteen of the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby appoint the said Hugh Edwin Kennett to be a member of the Hundalee Scenic Reserves Board constituted by the Warrant hereinbefore referred to.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 7th day of February, 1930.

Altering Constitution of the Transport Appeal Board for No. 13 Motor-omnibus District.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by section sixteen of the Motor-omnibus Traffic Act, 1926, and of all other powers and authorities in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the appointment, made under my hand on the first day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, of Hon. Justice Francis Vernon Frazer, as Chairman of the Transport Appeal Board of No. 13 Motor-omnibus District, and do hereby appoint

Ernest Charles Levvey,

Stipendiary Magistrate, Invercargill, as Chairman and one representative of the Government on the said Board.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, this 6th day of February, 1930.

Appointment of Issuing Officers for the Purpose of issuing Licenses to fish for Trout under the Taupo Trout-fishing Regulations, 1929.

PURSUANT to the provisions of Regulation 2 (2) of the Taupo Trout-fishing Regulations, 1929, I, Philip Aldborough de la Perrelle, Minister of Internal Affairs of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby authorize—

Horace Hilton Newell, Esquire, Raetihi,

to be Issuing Officers for the purpose of issuing licenses to fish for trout under the Taupo Trout-fishing Regulations, 1929, vice J. A. Asher, Esquire, Tokaanu, and L. Fisher, Esquire, Raetihi, resigned.

Ivan Trevor Fallwell

to be Clerk of the Magistrates’ Court at Waihi for the purposes of the Magistrates’ Courts Act, 1928, Clerk of the Warden’s Court, Receiver of Gold Revenue, and Mining Registrar at Waihi for the Hauraki Mining District, constituted under the Mining Act, 1926, and local Patent Officer at Waihi for the purposes of the section 15 of the Patents, Designs, and Trade-marks Act, 1921–22, as from the 30th day of January, 1930.

Constable Arthur John Reeve Smither

to be Clerk and Bailiff of the Magistrates’ Court at Oxford for the purposes of the Magistrates’ Courts Act, 1928, as from the 17th day of December, 1929.

Constable David Ogilvy Brown

to be Clerk and Bailiff of the Magistrates’ Court at Rakaia for the purposes of the Magistrates’ Courts Act, 1928, as from the 25th day of January, 1930.

Harold Clive Hulme

to be Receiver of Land Revenue for the Nelson Land District for the purposes of the Land Act, 1924, as from the 22nd day of January, 1930.

Josh Fletcher Hewitt

to be an Inspector of Factories for the purposes of the Factories Act, 1921–22, an Inspector of Weights and Measures for the purposes of the Weights and Measures Act, 1925, and an Inspector of Scaffolding for the purposes of the Scaffolding and Excavation Act, 1922, as from the 1st day of February, 1930.
