In the matter of JOHN BULLEID AND COMPANY, LIMITED,
and in the matter of the Companies Act, 1908.

NOTICE is hereby given that the order of the Supreme
Court of New Zealand, Otago and Southland District,
made at Dunedin on the 18th day of December, 1929, confirming
the reduction of the capital of the above-named
company from £60,000 to £28,445 10s., together with the
minute, approved by the Court, showing with respect to the
capital of the company (as altered) the several particulars
required by the above statute, was registered by the Assistant
Registrar of Companies at Dunedin on the 20th day of
December, 1929.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND UNDER
THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT, 1928.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Education Board of
the District of Hawke's Bay intends to execute a
certain public work—namely, the erection of a school, and to
take, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, for
the use, convenience, and enjoyment of a public school, the
following land, namely :--
That parcel of land situate in Block XI, Mata Survey
District, in the County of Waiapu, and in the Gisborne
Registration District, containing by admeasurement 3 acres,
more or less, being part of Waipiro A 8 Block, being part of
the land in certificate of title, Vol. 80, folio 6, Gisborne
Registry, and being the whole of the land edged pink on the
plan hereinafter referred to, a copy of which is also deposited
in the office of the Department of Lands and Survey at
Gisborne under Number 1371 (brown).
Notice is further given that a plan of the land so required
to be taken is deposited in the office of Messieurs Nolan and
Skeet, Solicitors, Tokomaru Bay, and is open for inspection
by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public
work or by the taking of such land who have any well-founded
objections to the execution of the said public work or to the
taking of such land, are hereby called upon to state their
objection in writing, and send the same, within forty days
from the first publication of this notice, to the Education
Board of the District of Hawke's Bay, at its office in Browning
Street, Napier, New Zealand.

NAYSMITHS LIMITED.
IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the
matter of NAYSMITHS LIMITED (in Liquidation).

AT an extraordinary general meeting of the members of
the above-named company, held at Hastings on 1st
November, 1929, the following extraordinary resolution was
duly passed :--
"That the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities,
continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the
same, and that the company be wound up accordingly, and
that ALBERT EDGAR PALMER, Public Accountant, of Hastings,
be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purpose of
winding-up."
All persons or firms having claims against the above
company are required to forward full particulars of all such
claims to the undersigned at Queen Street, Hastings (Box 105),
not later than 31st January, 1930, otherwise they may be
excluded from participation in any distribution.
