A plan of the said land is deposited at the post-office at
Pokapu, and is there open for inspection by all persons at
all reasonable hours.
All persons affected are hereby required and called upon to
set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the taking
of such land, and to send such writing, within forty days from
the first publication of this notice, to the Education Board of
the District of Auckland at its office in Wellesley Street, Auckland.

In the matter of the Patents, Designs, and Trade-marks
Act, 1921-22, and in the matter of Letters Patent bearing
date the 7th day of April, 1914, and numbered 34717
for an invention entitled "Improvements in files for
invoice sheets and the like and binders for use there-
with," between Coulis, Somerville, Wilkie, LIMITED,
and THOMAS CHARLES COULL (plaintiffs), and the
REGISTRAR OF PATENTS, DESIGNS, AND TRADE-MARKS
(defendant).
NOTICE is hereby given that Coulls, Somerville, Wilkie,
Limited, the registered legal owner of the above-
mentioned Letters Patent, and Thomas Charles Coull, the
actual inventor of the invention in respect of which the said
Letters Patent were granted, have, by originating summons
dated 5th day of October, 1929, applied that the term of the
said Letters Patent may be extended; and notice is hereby
given that the Court has fixed Friday, the 7th day of February,
1930, at 10.30 o'clock in the forenoon, as the day before which
the said summons shall not come on for hearing ; and notice
is hereby given that any person desirous of being heard in
opposition to the said originating summons must, at least
seven days before the said 7th day of February, 1930, lodge
notice of such opposition in the office of the Supreme Court,
at Wellington, and serve a copy thereof upon Park and Hemery,
solicitors for the plaintiffs; and notice is hereby given that the
address of the said Park and Hemery is the address for service
on the plaintiffs of any documents requiring service upon
them in accordance with Rule 4 of the Rules of the Supreme
Court under the Patents, Designs, and Trade-marks Act,
1921-22.

I. hereby give notice that by agreement dated the 20th
day of August, 1929, the Partnership business theretofore
subsisting between myself and John Alexander Bright under
the style or firm of "McDonald and Company," was dis-
solved as from the 19th day of August, 1929, and that the
business is now carried on by the said said John Alexander
Bright.
