NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—AUCKLAND
FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District containing
by admeasurement 3,650 acres, more or less, being Sections 15,
17, 19, 20, 27, 28, and 29, Block XV, and Section 21, Block XVI,
Maungataniwha Survey District, and Sections 34, 35, and 36,
Block III, Mangamuka Survey District. As the same is more
particularly delineated on plan No. 5/4, deposited in the Head
Office of the State Forest Service, at Wellington, and thereon
bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 24th day of
December, 1929.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by the Forests Act, 1921–22, and
pursuant to a resolution in that behalf passed by both Houses
of Parliament, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
revoke (so far only as it relates to the Crown land described
in the Schedule hereto) the Proclamation of the twenty-ninth
day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight,
whereby the said land (with certain other land) was set apart
as a permanent State forest, and declare that the reservation
thereby effected is (so far only as aforesaid) revoked accord-
ingly.

SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—AUCKLAND
FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District containing by
admeasurement 23 acres 2 roods, more or less, being portion
of Waiwawa Block, situated in Block IV, Whitianga Survey
District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the
south-east by the Waiwawa Stream; towards the north-
west by a public road; towards the south-west by Section 6,
Block IV aforesaid; and again towards the north-west and
towards the north by the Marama Stream; save and except-
ing the intersecting public road. As the same is more par-
ticularly delineated on plan No. 22/9, deposited in the Head
Office of the State Forest Service, at Wellington, and thereon
bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 24th day of
December, 1929.

conferred upon me by the Forests Act, 1921–22, and
pursuant to a resolution in that behalf passed by both Houses
of Parliament, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
revoke (so far only as it relates to the Crown land described
in the Schedule hereto) the Proclamation of the second day
of May, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, whereby
the said land (with certain other land) was set apart as a per-
manent State forest, and declare that the reservation thereby
effected is (so far only as aforesaid) revoked accordingly.

SCHEDULE.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.—CANTERBURY FOREST-
CONSERVATION REGION.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District containing by
admeasurement 35 acres, more or less, being portion of Reserve
No. 3421, situated in Block XIII, Culverden Survey District,
and bounded generally as follows: Towards the north-east
by other part of Reserve No. 3421 (State Forest No. 85,
Gazette, 1916, page 1673); towards the south-east by the
Hurunui River; and towards the north-west by the Main
Waiu road. As the same is more particularly delineated on
plan No. 129/30, deposited in the Head Office of the State
Forest Service, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of
January, 1930.

Southland Forest-conservation Region.

ALL that area in the Otago Land District containing by
admeasurement 543 acres, more or less, being Section 1, Block
X, Rankleburn Survey District, and Section 27, Block VIII,
Glenkenich Survey District. As the same is more particularly
delineated on plan No. 204/28, deposited in the Head Office
of the State Forest Service, at Wellington, and thereon
bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of
December, 1929.

Declaring a Portion of Railway Reserve at Mount Albert to be
Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section thirty-five of the Public Works
Act, 1928, it is provided that in the case of any
land taken, purchased, or acquired for a Government work,
and not required for that purpose, the Governor-General may,
on recommendation by the Minister, by Proclamation, declare
such land to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924,
and thereupon the land may be administered and disposed
of under that Act accordingly:

Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pur-
suance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
on me by section thirty-five of the Public Works Act, 1928,
and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling
me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare the land
described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject
to the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 9 acres 3 roods
17 perches.
