26. REQUIREMENTS OF LOCAL AUTHORITIES IN DISTRICT.
Notwithstanding anything herein contained the licensee
shall not be entitled to construct, maintain, or use the
works authorized by the license within the Waimea County,
the Richmond Borough, or the Tahunanui Town District,
except subject to such conditions, not inconsistent with the
provisions of this license (or any variation of this license) as
may from time to time be agreed upon between the licensee
and the Waimea County Council, the Richmond Borough
Council, or the Tahunanui Town Board.

CONVERSION OF LINES FROM EARTH-WORKING TO METALLIC.
Notwithstanding anything herein contained, the licensee
shall bear the cost of converting the Railway or Post and
Telegraph Department's lines which are now erected from
earth-working to metallic if required by the Minister of
Railways or the Minister of Telegraphs, owing to electrical
interference arising from the licensee's electric lines. -
RAILWAY AND TELEGRAPH DEPARTMENTS' LINES.
The licensee shall rectify to the satisfaction of the Minister
of Railways or the Minister Telegraphs any interference or
disturbance that affects the satisfactory working of the tele-
graph lines which are the property of the Railway Department
or the Telegraph Department, and which were erected prior
to the licensee's lines. -
CHARGES FOR ELECTRICAL ENERGY.
The charges for electrical energy shall not exceed 1s. per
unit for lighting purposes, 6d. per unit for street-lighting
purposes, and 4d. per unit for motor power, heating, or cook-
ing purposes : Provided that “lighting purposes” shall in-
clude the operation of motor generators for lighting purposes.
In the case of wholesale supply, the charge shall not exceed
£16 per kilowatt of maximum demand per annum. “ Whole-
sale supply " for this purpose shall be held to be a supply in
respect to which the consumer shall guarantee to pay not less
than £120 per annum. The licensee may make a minimum
charge for electrical energy not exceeding 5s. per month,
including meter rent. -
USE OF ELECTRICITY PURCHASED FROM THE NELSON CITY COUNCIL.
The licensee is hereby authorized to use in terms of this
license electricity purchased in bulk from the Nelson City
Council at 3,300 volts. -
COVERING OF OVERHEAD WIRES.
All overhead electric lines hereafter erected in terms of this
license within the area described as follows shall be covered,
if so required by the provisions of Regulation 151 of the
regulations.
Sections 1, 2, 5, and 12, Block IV, Waimea Survey
District.
Sections 51 and 57, Block III, and Sections 50 and 52,
Block VIII, Waimea Survey District.
Sections 25, 26, 27, 29, 65, 82, and 83, Block VII, Waimea
Survey District.
Sections 21, 23, and 24, Block VI, Waimea Survey
District.
Sections 2, 18, 33, and 34, Block IX, Waimea Survey
District.
Sections 84 and 85, Block XVI, Waimea Survey District.
Any overhead electric lines erected before the date of this
license in the areas described in this clause shall be covered
in accordance with the provisions of the said Regulation 151,
if and when required by the Minister. Within the area of
supply hereinbefore described, other than the areas described
in this clause, overhead electric lines may be bare.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
ORDERS IN COUNCIL dated 23rd June, 1913, and 17th April,
1916, relating to the use of water for electrical energy and
erecton of electric lines by Robert Ellis of Brightwater,
Flour-miller.
Orders in Council dated 8th May, 1922, 31st July, 1922,
and 1st February, 1924, relating to the use of water for
electrical energy and the erection of electric lines by the
Waimea Electric Supply and Manufacturing Company, Ltd.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 17th day
of December, 1929.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE G. W. FORBES, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains,
and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of
the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
Robert Clark Craig,
George Oswald Donovan,
Ellis Pryce Fisher,
Richard Scarborough Fisher, and
Norman Grant Nisbett
to be the Motu Domain Board, having control of the land
described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint
Wednesday, the fifteenth day of January, one thousand
nine hundred and thirty, at three o'clock p.m., as the time
when, and the Public Hall, Motu, as the place where, the
first meeting of the Board shall be held.
SCHEDULE.
Motu Domain.-GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT.
Section 31, Block II, Motu Survey District : Area, 15 acres.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 17th day of
December, 1929.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred by section sixty-one of the Public Reserves,
Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of
the said Dominion, doth hereby direct that from the moneys
received in respect of that portion of the Ormond Domain
(known as the Kohi Bush Reserve) described in the First
Schedule hereto and at the date hereof lying to the credit of
the said portion a sum not exceeding one hundred and fifty
pounds shall be applied in managing, administering, and
improving the Ormond Domain described in the Second
Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT.-KOHI BUSH RESERVE.
All that area in Block I, Waimata Survey District, containing
by admeasurement 107 acres 1 rood 5 perches, more or less,
being the section marked “Bush reserve,” and being the
land referred to in the Order in Council dated 1st August,
1910, and published in Gazette No. 75, of the 4th of that month,
page 3115.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
Ormond Domain.
All that area in the Gisborne Land District containing by
admeasurement 10 acres, more or less, being Lot 1 of Section
19, Muhunga Block, Block VIII, Waimata Survey District.
Bounded on the north by a public road, on the north-east,
south-east, and south-west by Lot 2 of Section 19, Muhunga
Block, and on the north-west by the Waipaoa River. As the
same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.
and S. 1/23, deposited in the Head Office, Department of
Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered
green.
