DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hereinbefore subsisting between STANLEY OTTO POULSEN and GEORGE EDMOND WALLACE, carrying on business at Macandrew Bay as Butchers under the style of “Wallace and Poulsen,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the sixteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine.

All moneys owing to and all debts of the late Partnership will be received and paid respectively by the said George Edmond Wallace, who will continue the business at Macandrew Bay aforesaid.

Dated at Dunedin, this 2nd day of December, 1929.

TARANAKI COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

Lower Puniho Road Special-rating District Loan of £200, 1929.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Taranaki County Council hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Taranaki County Lower Puniho Road Special-rating District Loan of £200, 1929, authorized to be raised by the Taranaki County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of forming and metalling the Lower Puniho Road, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of two pence (2d.) in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Lower Puniho Road Special-rating District of the County of Taranaki, being Sections part 25, part 25, Block 4, Cape Survey District; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly passed at a properly constituted meeting of the Council held on the 7th day of October, 1929.

ELLERSLIE TOWN BOARD.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

Drainage Extension Loan (1929), £1,200.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Ellerslie Town Board hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,200, authorized to be raised by the Ellerslie Town Board under the above-mentioned Act for extending the sewers connecting houses situate in the Waitemata Watershed adjoining Marua Road and Umere Crescent, the said Ellerslie Town Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-tenth of a penny in the pound sterling on the unimproved value of all rateable property comprised within the Ellerslie Town District, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 31st day of March in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

The above resolution was moved by Mr. W. H. Ball, seconded by Mr. W. Bartlett, and carried unanimously at a meeting of the Ellerslie Town Board held on the 27th day of November, 1929.

I hereby certify that the above is a true copy of a minute in the minute-book of the proceedings of the Ellerslie Town Board.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between ROBERT HUNTLY MITCHELL, of Christchurch, Accountant, and ALBERT GEORGE ALDRIDGE, of Christchurch, Accountant, carrying on business at Christchurch as Professional Accountants under the style or firm of “Mitchell and Aldridge” has been dissolved as from the 30th day of November, 1929.

All debts due to and owing by the said firm will be received and paid respectively by the said Robert Huntly Mitchell, who will continue to carry on the said business under the name of “Mitchell and Aldridge.”

NOTICE is hereby given that the creditors of the above-named company, which is being voluntarily wound up, are required on or before the 23rd day of December, 1929, being the day for that purpose fixed by EDWIN JOHN COLLEY, of Wellington, the Liquidator of the said company, to send their names and addresses, and particulars of their debts or claims, and the names and addresses of their solicitors (if any) to the undersigned; and, if so required by notice in writing by the said Liquidator, or by their solicitors, to come in and prove the said debts or claims at such time and place as shall be specified in such notice, or in default thereof they shall be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts are proved.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and its amendments, and of all other Acts and powers it in this behalf enabling, the Wellington City Council hereby resolves on the 5th day of December, 1929, as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on a special loan of thirty-eight thousand pounds (£38,000) to be known as “The Wellington City Seatoun, Kilbirnie, and Island Bay Drainage and Sewerage Loan, 1929,” authorized to be raised by the Wellington City Council for the purpose of providing the following sanitary works, that is to say:—

Drainage works for the purpose of affording drainage to parts of the districts of Seatoun, Kilbirnie, and Island Bay, and sewerage works for the purpose of affording sewerage to the district of Island Bay,

the said Wellington City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three one-hundredths of a penny (3/100d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the City of Wellington, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate
