Notice respecting Proposed Constitution of Croixelles Road District, Sounds County.
Department of Internal Affairs,
Wellington, 4th December, 1929.
IT is hereby notified that, in pursuance of the provisions of section 35, Local Legislation Act, 1929, it is proposed to constitute the area described in the Schedule hereto, situated in the Sounds County, a road district for the purposes of that section, by name the Croixelles Road District. All persons affected are hereby called upon to lodge any written objections to or petitions against the proposed constitution which they desire to lodge within one month from the first publication of this notice, such objections or petitions to be addressed to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wellington.
SCHEDULE.
AREA PROPOSED TO BE CONSTITUTED THE CROIXELLES ROAD DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Nelson Land District bounded on the north-west generally by the sea from Pukerau Point to a point in Okure Bay in line with the north-eastern boundary-line of Section 10, Block I, Wangamoa Survey District; thence to and along that boundary and the south-eastern boundary of the said Section 10 to the eastern boundary of the Wangamoa Survey District; thence due south along that boundary to the French Pass Track; thence south-westerly and south-easterly along that track to the eastern boundary of the said Wangamoa Survey District; thence along that boundary to the shore of Brown’s or Elaine Bay; thence westerly and easterly generally along the shore of that bay to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Reserve 2, Block VII, Wangamoa Survey District; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern boundaries of Reserve 2 and Sections 6 and 8, said Block VII, to Boundary Trig. Station; thence south-westerly generally along the range, and passing through Mt. McLaren, McLaren Peak, Editor Peak, and Elliot Peak to North Castor Peak; thence along a right line to Pukerau Point, the place of commencement.
