mentioned in section 118 of the Electric-power Boards Act, 1925, which section authorizes the Board to install motors, electric-wires, electric lamps, and other fittings and equipment in public or private dwellings, buildings, works, and other places, and to accept payment therefor by instalments, the said Tauranga Electric-power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of nine-fortieths (9/40ths) of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value, on the basis of the unimproved value, of all rateable property of the Tauranga Electric-power District, comprising the whole of such district, and that such special rate be an annual-recurring special rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of January in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten (10) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
We certify that the above is a true copy of a resolution passed by the Tauranga Electric-power Board at an ordinary meeting of the Board held on the 15th day of November, 1929.

TIMARU BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
Redruth Drainage and other Unemployment Works Loan (1929), £4,100.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, the Timaru Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Redruth Drainage and other Unemployment Works Loan (1929) of £4,100, authorized to be raised by the Timaru Borough Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of the Council’s proportion of the cost of Redruth drainage and sundry road works, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of seventeen one-hundred-and-twenty-fifths of a penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Timaru, and that special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

PICTURE THEATRES, LIMITED.
IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter of PICTURE THEATRES, LIMITED.
AT a meeting of the members of the above-named private company held at 152 High Street, Dunedin, on the 27th day of November, 1929, the following resolution was duly passed, minuted, and signed by all the said members in accordance with the provisions of section 168 (6) of the Companies Act, 1908 :—
“ That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that Mr. H. H. SYKES, of Dunedin, Accountant, be appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up.”

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter of PICTURE THEATRES, LIMITED (in Liquidation).
NOTICE is hereby given that the creditors of the above-named company are required, on or before the 20th day of December, 1929, to send their names and addresses, and the particulars of their debts or claims, and the names and addresses of their solicitors (if any) to the undersigned, P.O. Box 214, Dunedin; and, if so required by notice in writing, are by their solicitors to come in and prove their said debts or claims, at such time and place as shall be specified in such notice, or in default thereof they will be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts are proved.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership subsisting between WILLIAM GEORGE JAEGER and WILLIAM GARTLY MCNAB, carrying on business at Napier as Clothiers under the style of “ The Cash Clothing Company ” was dissolved on the 21st day of September, 1929, and that the said business as from that date is being carried on by the said William Gartly McNab, who will discharge all liabilities of the Partnership, and to whom all moneys owing to the Partnership will be payable.

TAURANGA COUNTY COUNCIL.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE A ROAD.
In the matter of Public Works Act, 1928, and amendments.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Tauranga County Council proposes to take the pieces of land mentioned in the Schedule hereto under the provisions of the above-mentioned Act for the purposes of a public road; and also that a plan showing the lands required to be taken is deposited at the office of the Tauranga County Council, Spring Street, Tauranga, and is open for public inspection during business hours; and also that all persons affected by the taking of the said land shall, if they have any well-grounded objection to the taking of said land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the 2nd day of December, 1929, being the date of the first publication of this notice to the office of the Tauranga County Council aforesaid, addressed to the undersigned.
