ERRATUM.—In the Schedule to the Proclamation dated the 11th day of January, 1929, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 2, page 124, of the 17th January, 1929, taking land for the purposes of a road in Block VII, Waipoua Survey District, for “plan marked P.W.D. 69303” read “plan marked P.W.D. 69363.”

Boundaries of Kamo Town District curtailed.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by a Proclamation dated the nineteenth day of June, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-four, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twentieth day of June, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-four, the Town District of Kamo was duly constituted and proclaimed under the Town Districts Act, 1881, with the boundaries described in the Schedule to the said Proclamation :

And whereas by a Proclamation dated the twenty-seventh day of July, one thousand nine hundred and one, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the first day of August, one thousand nine hundred and one, the boundaries of the said town district were enlarged by the addition of the area described in the First Schedule to the said Proclamation :

And whereas it is expedient to curtail the boundaries of the said town district in the manner hereinafter set forth :

Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in me by the Town Boards Act, 1908, and the Counties Act, 1920, and of all other powers enabling me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that as on and from the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, the boundaries of the said Town District of Kamo shall be altered by excluding therefrom, and including in the County of Whangarei, the area described in the First Schedule hereto ; that the boundaries of the said town district (as so altered) shall be those described in the Second Schedule hereto ; that the area included as aforesaid in the County of Whangarei shall be included in the Wairua Riding and the Hikurangi Riding of the said county ; and that the boundaries of those ridings shall be those described in the Third Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

AREA EXCLUDED FROM KAMO TOWN DISTRICT.

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District bounded as follows : Commencing at a point at the south-western corner of part Allotment 50, Parish of Whangarei, where the Otapapa Stream adjoins the Whangarei-Opua Railway line ; thence towards the west generally by the Otapapa Stream to its confluence with the Waitaua and Ngau Poaka Streams, by the aforesaid Ngau Poaka Stream to the Whangarei-Opua Railway line, by that railway-line to the south-western boundary of part Parakiore No. 2 Block, as shown on plan 8351, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, and by the boundaries of that block to the south-western corner of that part Te Tupua Block, containing 20 acres ; thence towards the north generally by the southern boundary-line of the aforesaid part Te Tupua Block and the southern boundary-line of part Allotment 123, Parish of Whangarei, containing 2 roods 14 perches, and that boundary-line produced to the middle of the Great North Road ; thence towards the east generally by a line along the middle of that road to a point in line with south-eastern boundary of part Allotment 118, Parish of Whangarei, containing 1 acre 3 roods 13 perches, shown on plan 8896, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, by a right line to and by that boundary-line to the Waitaua River, and by that river to north-western boundary of part Allotment 50, Parish of Whangarei, shown on plan 1583, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland ; thence towards the south generally by the north-western and south-western boundaries of the aforesaid part Allotment 50 to the north-western boundary-line of that part Allotment 50, Parish of Whangarei, containing 15 acres 3 roods 32 perches, and by that boundary-line to the Whangarei-Opua Railway line, then by that railway-line to the point of commencement.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

KAMO TOWN DISTRICT.

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point in the Waitaua River in line with the centre-line of the road forming the south-western boundary of Sections 11, 12, 13, and 7, Parish of Whangarei ; thence to and along the middle of that road to the south-eastern boundary of Section 8, Parish of Whangarei ; thence south-westerly along that boundary to the Otangare Stream ; thence south-westerly along that stream, and the north-eastern boundary of a portion of Mair’s Grant to its junction with the northernmost corner of the land shown on plan 1264, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland ; thence south-westerly along the north-western boundaries of the land shown on plans 1264 and 3459, deposited as aforesaid, to the Great North Road ; across that
