ERRATUM.—In the Schedule to the Proclamation dated the twelfth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, and published in New Zealand Gazette, No. 57, of the fifteenth day of the same month, taking land for the purposes of a road-approach to the East Coast Main Trunk Railway, Wairoa Section, for the description of the area comprising 1 acre 2 roods 39·6 perches read “Portion of 1E7A and 1E6, Paeroa Block,” in lieu of “Portion of 1E7A, Paeroa Block.”

Additional Land at Wallsend taken for the Purposes of the Nelson-Greymouth Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Nelson-Greymouth Railway to take further land at Wallsend, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway: Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 1 acre 1 rood 23 perches.
Part of Section 573, Block X, Arnold Survey District, Borough of Brunner. (S.O. 2782.)
In the Westland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 536, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon bordered green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of November, 1929.

Crown Lands set apart as a Provisional State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown lands described in the Schedule hereto as a provisional State forest.
SCHEDULE.
SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT.—OTAGO-SOUTHLAND FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.
Provisional State Forest No. 53.
ALL that area in the Southland Land District containing approximately 14,200 acres, more or less, situated in Blocks IV, V, and XIV, Lillburn Survey District, and Blocks XII and XVI, Hauruko Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the east and north-east by Mossburn Road; again towards the east by Section 13, Block III, Lillburn Survey District, and by Groveburn Road; towards the south by Section 1, Block VI, Sections 15 and 1, Block V, Sections 6 and 22, Block IV, Alton Survey District, and Sections 9 and 1, Block IV, Rowallan Survey District; towards the west by the Sounds National Park; towards the north by a right line bearing due east from the eastern boundary of the said park to Trig. Station B (Goldie’s Hill), and by a right line between the said trig. station and the south-western corner of Section 5, Block XIV aforesaid; again towards the north by Section 5 aforesaid; towards the south-west by East Rowallan Road; and again towards the north by Section 3, Block XIV aforesaid, and by Saddle Road; save and excepting the internal roads: As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 200/1, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 6th day of November, 1929.
