ERRATUM.—In New Zealand Gazette, No. 66, of the 3rd October, 1929, page 2592, “Lands in Taranaki Land District forfeited,” in Schedule, for “Sections 18, 25, and part 12, 28, 29, 32, 34, Block II, Omona Mangaehu Suburban District,” read “Sections 18, 25, and part 12, Block II, Omona Survey District, and Sections 28, 29, 32, and 34, Mangaehu Suburban District.”

Land taken for the Purposes of a Mental Hospital in Blocks XII and XVI, Rolleston Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

I N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a mental hospital; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the sixteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 580 acres 1 rood 15 perches.

Being Rural Sections 2918, 2926, 3088, 3965, 4028, 4042, 4423, and 4840.

Situated in Blocks XII and XVI, Rolleston Survey District (Canterbury R.D.).

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 76692, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of October, 1929.

A PROCLAMATION.

I N pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in Wainuioru Survey District, described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

LAND PROCLAIMED AS A ROAD.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land proclaimed as a road:—

0 0 0·14 Wainuioru No. 1a, Block IX; coloured red.
3 1 1·9 Wainuioru No. 1a, Blocks IX and XIII; coloured red.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

ROAD CLOSED.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of road closed:—

A. R. P. Adjoining or passing through
1 1 0·6 Wainuioru No. 1a, Blocks IX and XIII; coloured green.
4 2 38·5 Wainuioru No. 1b, Blocks IX and XIII; coloured green.

All situated in Wainuioru Survey District. (S.O. 2480.)

All in the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 76304, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of October, 1929.
