Lieutenant V. A. Murphy to be Captain. Dated 27th August, 1929.
2nd Lieutenant H. B. L. Sweetman to be Lieutenant. Dated 27th August, 1929.
The Regiment of N.Z. Artillery.
With reference to the notice published in the N.Z. Gazette, No. 59, of 29th August, 1929, relating to the transfer of Major J. N. Baxter, M.M., 2nd Field Battery, to the Reserve of Officers, for the date “9th August, 1929,” read “30th April, 1929.”
THE N.Z. INFANTRY.
The Hauraki Regiment.
Lieutenant C. A. Le Lievre, 1st Battalion, to be Captain. Dated 3rd September, 1929.
The North Auckland Regiment.
The commission granted to Lieutenant L. L. Robertson, M.M., 1st Battalion, is cancelled under section 6 (b), the Defence Act, 1909. Dated 31st July, 1929.
The Waikato Regiment.
Lieutenant E. M. Mackersey, from the Reserve of Officers, to be Lieutenant, and is posted to the 1st Battalion. Dated 22nd August, 1929.
The Wellington Regiment.
Howard Wilson King to be 2nd Lieutenant (on probation), and is posted to the 1st C Battalion. Dated 2nd August, 1929.
The Hawke’s Bay Regiment.
2nd Lieutenant E. G. Armstrong, from the Reserve of Officers, to be 2nd Lieutenant, and is posted to the 2nd C Battalion. Dated 9th September, 1929.
The Taranaki Regiment.
Lieutenant W. E. Scott, M.M., 1st Battalion, to be Captain. Dated 8th May, 1929.
2nd Lieutenant H. G. Whitehead, 2nd C Battalion, to be Lieutenant. Dated 30th June, 1929.
2nd Lieutenant E. G. Smith, 1st Battalion, is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class I (b), R.D. 8. Dated 3rd September, 1929.
