Authorizing the Exchange of a Road Reserve in Block X,
Belmont Survey District, Wellington Land District, for
other Land.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 23rd day of
September, 1929.
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the First Schedule
hereto is a reserve duly set apart for a road : And
whereas it is expedient that the said land should be exchanged
for the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, which
the Governor-General deems of equal value and more suitable
for the purposes of the reserve :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon
him by section eight of the Public Reserves, Domains, and
National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the land
described in the First Schedule hereto may be exchanged
for the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
DESCRIPTION OF RESERVE AUTHORIZED TO BE EXCHANGED.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District containing by
admeasurement 1 rood 27·22 perches, more or less, being part
of Section 72, Hutt Registration District, and being Lot 10
on deeds plan 605, Town of Korau Extension No. 4, situated
in Block X, Belmont Survey District. As the same is de-
lineated on the plan numbered 6/6/505, deposited in the
Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington,
and thereon coloured yellow.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
DESCRIPTION OF LAND TO BE OBTAINED IN EXCHANGE
THEREFOR.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District containing by
admeasurement 1 rood 17·9 perches, more or less, being part of
Section 72, Hutt Registration District, and being part Lot 8
on deeds plan 605, Town of Korau Extension No. 4, situated
in Block X, Belmont Survey District, and more particularly
shown on Land Transfer Provisional Plan 9325. As the
same is delineated on the plan numbered 6/6/505, deposited
in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at
Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Cancelling the Reservation over Part of a Reserve in Block IV,
Waihou Survey District, Auckland Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 23rd day of
September, 1929.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section
seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks
Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby cancel the reservation as a reserve for quarry
purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto ;
and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in
the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the
Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by
admeasurement 21 acres 0 roods 4·2 perches, more or less, being
Lot 2 of Section 7, Block IV, Waihou Survey District :
Bounded towards the north by Onetai No. 2A Native Block,
795·4 links ; towards the east by Section 13, Block IV, Waihou
Survey District, 2095·0 links ; towards the south by Section 13
above mentioned and a residence-site, 1044·9 links ; towards
the west generally by a public road, 727·6 and 143·9 links ;
again towards the north, west, and south by Lot 1 of Section 7,
Block IV, Waihou Survey District, 200·0, 441·4, and 200·0
links, respectively ; and again towards the west generally
by a public road, 478·6 and 216·2 links : Be all the aforesaid
linkages a little more or less. As the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 9/2230, deposited
in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at
Wellington, and thereon edged red. (Auckland plan 25214,
blue.)

Changing the Purpose of a Reserve in Block VIII, Tiriraukawa
Survey District, Wellington Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 23rd day of
September, 1929.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
is a reserve duly set apart for accommodation for
travelling stock :
And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reserva-
tion over such land shall be changed to a reserve for a road-
man’s cottage site :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in
exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him
by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves,
Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare
that the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule
hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for accommodation
for travelling stock to a reserve for a roadman’s cottage site.
SCHEDULE.
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.
SECTION 9B, Block VIII, Tiriraukawa Survey District : Area,
5 acres.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 23rd day of

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by
the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in
anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the
portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on
and after the date of this Order in Council, become a Govern-
ment road.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road declared to be a
Government road : 2 roods 21·26 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Section 5, Porirua R.D.
Situated in Block XI, Belmont Survey District. (S.O. 2218.)
In the Wellington Land District ; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 70680
(sheet 1), deposited in the office of the Minister of Public
Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
