Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section thirty-eight of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1906, hereinbefore referred to, do hereby vest the reserve described in the Schedule hereto in the Corporation of the Borough of Masterton, in trust, as an addition to the public recreation and pleasure grounds vested by the Masterton Public Park Management Act, 1901.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District containing by admeasurement 20 acres, more or less, being part Section 104, Masterton Small-farms Settlement, situated in Block I, Otahoua Survey District: As the same is delineated on plan numbered 119/5, deposited in the Wellington District Office, Department of Lands and Survey, and thereon bordered red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 7th day of September, 1929.

Financial Instructions and Allowance Regulations for the New Zealand Military Forces amended.—(Amendments No. 27.)

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by the Defence Act, 1909, and its amendments, I General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby amend in the manner and to the extent set forth in the Schedule hereto the Financial Instructions and Allowance Regulations for the New Zealand Military Forces published in the New Zealand Gazette dated the sixth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five; and I do hereby declare that the amendments hereby made shall take effect as from the date of publication thereof in the Gazette.

FINANCIAL INSTRUCTIONS AND ALLOWANCE REGULATIONS FOR THE NEW ZEALAND MILITARY FORCES.

SECTION IV.—PAY AND ALLOWANCES.
Medical Officers and Medical Practitioners.
- PARAGRAPH 124, as amended by N.Z. Gazette, No. 79, dated 12th November, 1925, is hereby further amended as follows:—
(i) After subparagraph (iv) add :—
“(iv (a)). Specialists on Medical Boards for the examination of candidates for commissions as Pilots in the N.Z. Air Force (Permanent and Territorial), vide Section IV, Appendix I, General Regulations, 1927: £2 2s. per diem for the first case, and £1 1s. for each additional case at the same Board.”
(ii) After subparagraph (xi) add :—
“For examination of personnel of N.Z. Air Force (Permanent and Territorial) attending Refresher Courses, vide Section V, Appendix I, General Regulations, 1927: £1 1s. per case.”
