Result of Poll for Proposed Loan.

THE following notice, received from the Chairman, Eketa-huna County Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926.

EKETAHUNA COUNTY COUNCIL.
PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Eketa-huna County Council taken on the 21st day of August, 1929, on the proposal of the Eketa-huna County Council to borrow the sum of two thousand pounds (£2,000) for the purpose of reforming and metalling Main Highway No. 63, the number of votes recorded for the proposal was 146; the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 22.
I therefore declare the proposal was carried.

Registration of Opotiki Acclimatization Society cancelled.
PURSUANT to the powers vested in me by the Animals Protection and Game Act, 1921–22, and the regulations thereunder, I, Philip Aldborough de la Perrelle, Minister of Internal Affairs of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby cancel the registration of the Opotiki Acclimatization Society.
