Authorizing the Exchange of a Gravel-pit Reserve in Block XII, Shepherd's Bush Survey District, Canterbury Land District, for other Land.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 2nd day of September, 1929.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the First Schedule hereto is a reserve duly set apart for a gravel-pit: And whereas it is expedient that the said land should be exchanged for the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, which the Governor-General deems of equal value and more suitable for the purposes of the reserve:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section eight of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto may be exchanged for the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.


FIRST SCHEDULE.

DESCRIPTION OF RESERVE AUTHORIZED TO BE EXCHANGED.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, and being Reserve No. 2081, situated in Block XII, Shepherd's Bush Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north-west by Hackthorne Road, 500 links; and again towards the north-east, south-east, and south-west by Rural Section No. 27783, 1,000, 500, and 1,000 links, respectively: As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/5/170, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.


SECOND SCHEDULE.

DESCRIPTION OF LAND TO BE OBTAINED IN EXCHANGE THEREFOR.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, and being parts of Rural Sections 32800, 32800x, and 32801, situated in Block XII, Shepherd's Bush Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north-west by Hackthorne Road, 500 links; towards the north-east by the Mayfield-Lismore Road, 1,000 links; towards the south-east by other part of Rural Section No. 32800, 500 links; and again towards the south-west by other parts of Rural Sections Nos. 32800, 32800x, and 32801, 1,000 links: As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/5/170A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Cancelling the Reservation over a Reserve in Block IV, Maketu Survey District, Auckland Land District.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 2nd day of September, 1929.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby cancel the reservation as a reserve for police and telegraph purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.


SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

SECTION 5, Block IV, Maketu Survey District: Area, 7 acres 2 roods 37 perches.

Changing the Purpose of Part of a Reserve in Block VII, Awakino North Survey District, Auckland Land District.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 2nd day of September, 1929.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms part of a reserve duly set apart for gravel purposes:

And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for an addition to a site for a public school:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of that part of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for gravel purposes, to a reserve for an addition to a site for a public school.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District containing by admeasurement 2 roods 17·3 perches, more or less, being part Section 32, Block VII, Awakino North Survey District, bounded towards the north-west and north-east by part Section 32; Block VII, Awakino North Survey District, 350 and 176·2 links; towards the south-east by part Section 42, Block VII, Awakino North Survey District, 350 links; towards the south-west by a road, 176·2 links: Be all the aforesaid linkages a little more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/15A. deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
