In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and its amendments, and in the matter of SMEETONS LIMITED, in Liquidation.

NOTICE is hereby given of the passing of the under-mentioned resolution by the shareholders of the above company at a meeting held on Friday, the 19th day of July, 1929:—

“That as from the 1st day of August, 1929, Mr. HARRY CHARLES ROBINSON, of Auckland, Public Accountant, be appointed a Joint Liquidator with the present Liquidator, Mr. NORMAN POWLEY CARLESS, of Auckland, Public Accountant, with power to either of them to delegate authority to Mr. GEORGE JOHNSTON, whilst manager of SMEETONS LIMITED, to operate on the company’s banking account.”

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter of ACME BLOCKS, LIMITED, a duly incorporated Private Company, having its registered office at 3 Swanson Street, Auckland (in Liquidation).

NOTICE is hereby given that, on the 27th day of July, 1929, an extraordinary resolution was passed for the effective winding-up of the above-named company by entry in its minute-book, signed by the members of the company in pursuance of subclause (c) of section 168 of the Companies Act, 1908, and HERBERT WALTER BUTLER, of 3 Swanson Street, Auckland, Accountant, was duly appointed the Liquidator thereof.
