ERRATUM.—In a Proclamation dated 12th day of June, 1929, allocating land reserved and taken for a railway to the purposes of a road in the County of Piako, at Waitoa, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 46, of 20th day of June, 1929, page 1688, in the Schedule, for “Portions of Railway Reserve,” read “Portions of Railway Reserve (part Waokauri No. 1 Block).”

Additional Land at Horotiu taken for the Purpose of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway to take further land at Horotiu, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway: Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in any-wise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 22 perches. Portion of Allotment 112, Parish of Horotiu, Block XII, Newcastle Survey District, Waipa County. (S.O. 25246, blue.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 363, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 25th day of July, 1929.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Hurunui-Waitaki Railway to take further land at Timaru, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway, and to take land for street-diversion in connection therewith: Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in any-wise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

FOR RAILWAY.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 2 roods 21·5 perches. Being Lot 1 (D.P. 9245) of Reserve 384, Borough of Timaru.

FOR STREET-DIVERSION.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 14·2 perches. Portion of Railway Reserve adjoining Stafford Street, Borough of Timaru. (S.O. 2093, red.)

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 334, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured green and yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 24th day of July, 1929.
