ERRATA.—In the notice published on page 1810 of
Gazette No. 49 of the 4th July, 1929, notifying land in
Marlborough Land District forfeited, in the Schedule, for
"Nelson Land District" read "Marlborough Land District."

In the Schedule to the Order in Council dated the 8th day
of July, 1929, exempting the south-western side of portion
of Gibson Street, in the City of Wanganui, from the provisions
of section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, and published
in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 50, of the 11th day of July,
1929, at page 1834, read "Wellington Land District" in
lieu of "Taranaki Land District."

Crown Land set apart for Disposal by way of Sale or Lease
to Discharged Soldiers, under Special Tenures, in the North
Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon
me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement
Act, 1915, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim
and declare that the area of Crown land described in the
Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby set apart and
declared open for disposal by way of sale or lease to discharged
soldiers, under special tenures, in the manner provided in the
said Act.

SCHEDULE.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
SECTION 33, Block VIII, Waipoua Survey District: Area,
2 roods 35 perches.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this llth day of
July, 1929.

Amending a Proclamation setting apart Crown Land as a
Provisional State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by a Proclamation dated the fifth day of
July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, and
published in the Gazette of the eighth day of July, one
thousand nine hundred and twenty, at page 2108 (hereinafter referred to as "the said Proclamation"), certain Crown
lands in Blocks IV, VIII, XI, XII, XV, and XVI, Weao
Survey District, and Blocks V and IX, Ahikeruru Survey
District, Auckland Land District, were, inter alia, set apart
as a provisional State forest in terms of section thirty-four
of the War Legislation and Statute Law Amendment Act,
1918, and section two of the State Forests Amendment Act,
1919:

And whereas an error was made in the description and
area of these lands as set out in the Schedule attached to the
said Proclamation, and it is desirable that the error be rectified:

Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pur-
suance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
upon me by section three of the Forests Amendment Act,
1925, do hereby amend the said Proclamation by substituting
the description of the said area set forth in the Schedule
hereto for the description of the said area set forth in the said
Proclamation.

SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—ROTORUA FOREST-CONSERVA-
TION REGION.

Provisional State Forest No. 61.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District containing by
admeasurement 10,684 acres, more or less, situated in Blocks
IV, VIII, XI, XII, XV, and XVI, Weao Survey District, and
Blocks V and IX, Ahikeruru Survey District, and bounded
generally as follows : Towards the north-east by a road; towards
the east by Section 1, Block V aforesaid, and by Crown land
(Gazette, 1927, page 2121); towards the south by the Okahu
