WAIKATO COUNTY COUNCIL.
In the matter of the Public Works Act, 1928.
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Waikato County Council proposes to execute a certain public work—to wit, the formation of a road—for which purpose the following lands require to be taken by the Waikato County Council under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, sections 22 and 23 (that is to say),—
All that piece or parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement two roods and two-tenths of a perch (more or less), being part of a block of land, situated in the Parishes of Taupiri and Kirikiriroa, originally granted to the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, by grant dated the twenty-first day of November, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-six: Bounded towards the north-east by Garfield Street, one hundred links; towards the south-east by other part of the land contained in the said grant, five hundred and one and two-tenths links; towards the south-west by the Tramway Road, one hundred links; and on the north-west by Lots Seventeen and Thirty-two on a plan deposited in the Land Transfer Office at Auckland under Number 284, five hundred and one and two-tenths links, and being part of the land included in Vol. 40, folio 163, of the Register-book at Auckland.
A plan of the lands required to be taken as aforesaid is open for inspection at Mr. Parfitt’s general store at Gordonton.
All persons affected are hereby called upon to set forth in writing any well-founded objections to the execution of such work or to the taking of such lands, and to send such writing to the Waikato County Council within forty days from the date of the first publication of this notice.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto existing between the undersigned in the firm or business of “Maxted Brothers,” Farmers, Pukearuhe, is dissolved. That the business will in future be carried on under the name of EDWARD MAXTED solely, who will receive all moneys owing to and discharge all debts owing by the late Partnership firm.

NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section 230 of the Companies Act, 1908, that a general meeting of the members of the above-named company will be held at the office of Messrs. Watkins, Hull, Hunt, and Wheeler, 39 Johnston Street, Wellington, on the 26th day of July, 1929, at 12 o’clock noon, for the purpose of having the accounts laid before them showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property disposed of, and for determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company and of the Liquidator shall be disposed of.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto carried on at Christchurch by ALEXANDER CALDERWOOD FLEMING and LEO ARTHUR CURTIS, under the firm or style of “J. G. Fleming and Co.,” as Marine and Motor-boat Engineers, was dissolved by mutual consent on this 1st day of July, 1929.
All debts owing to the late firm are to be paid to the said Alexander Calderwood Fleming, who will continue to carry on the said business at the same address in the name of “J. G. Fleming and Co.” as hitherto, and will pay all the debts and liabilities of the late Partnership.
Mr. L. A. Curtis will still be employed as Manager of the Marine and Motor-boat Department.
