Land proclaimed as a Road, and Road closed, in Block II,
Onewhero Survey District, North Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

LAND PROCLAIMED AS A ROAD.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road: 3 roods 23·9 perches.
Portion of Section 13s, Puni Settlement; coloured red.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

ROAD CLOSED.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed; 3 roods 10 perches.
Adjoining Sections 13s and 14s, Puni Settlement; coloured green.

All situated in Block II, Onewhero Survey District.

All in the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 26/18443, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2287, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 29th day of January, 1929.

Land set apart as Provisional State Forest declared to be subject to the Land Act, 1924.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section twenty of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Lands, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being portion of Provisional State Forest Reserve No. 67, set apart by Proclamation dated the thirtieth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, and gazetted on the second day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, is required for settlement purposes; and, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such land shall, from and after the day of gazetting hereof, cease to be a provisional State forest, and shall become subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District containing by admeasurement 512 acres 3 roods, be the same a little more or less. Commencing at the south-eastern corner of Waimarino E No. 1b Block, and proceeding in a southerly direction along the western bank of the Te Pure Stream to its intersection with the railway reservation; thence by the western side of that reservation to the Arline Stream; thence westerly by that stream to its junction with the Piopiotea River, and by a right line to an angle peg on the Waimarino–Tau-marunui Road opposite traverse peg number 6; thence in a north-westerly direction generally by the eastern side of aforesaid road to its intersection with the southern boundary of Waimarino E No. 1b Block aforementioned; thence in an easterly direction by the southern boundary of that block to the place of commencement. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. X/92/41, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 29th day of January, 1929.
