as follows: Commencing at the north-eastern corner of Lot 2 of part of Aotearoa Block, containing 38 acres 3 roods, shown on plan 9056, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland; thence towards the north by a public road, 366·3, 471·7, and 555·7 links, to high-water mark of the Kaipara Harbour; thence towards the east by the said high-water mark of the Kaipara Harbour for a distance of 550 links; thence towards the south by a line bearing 245° 55′, distant 110 links, to the western boundary of portion of Aotearoa Block, shown on aforementioned plan 21211 (blue); thence towards the east by the aforesaid western boundary of portion of Aotearoa Block, 80 and 546·1 links to high-water mark of the Kaipara Harbour; thence towards the east and south by the aforesaid high-water mark of the Kaipara Harbour to the eastern boundary of Lot 2 of portion of Aotearoa Block shown on plan 9056, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland; thence towards the west by the aforesaid Lot 2 by distances of 420·7 and 1992·4 links to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages a little more or less. As the same are more particularly delineated on a plan marked L. and S. 1/478, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 21st day of May, 1929.

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE SIR J. G. WARD, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint—

The Chairman of the School Committee, Katikati North, ex officio,

The Chairman of the School Committee, Katikati Central, ex officio,

The Chairman of the School Committee, Katikati South, ex officio,

The Chairman of the Katikati Public Library Trustees, ex officio, and

The President of the Katikati Agricultural and Pastoral Association, ex officio,

to be the Uritawa Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the twenty-second day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, at three o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Domain Tea-rooms, Katikati, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.


SCHEDULE.

URITAWA DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, in the Town of Waterford, containing by admeasurement 8 acres 1 rood 26·2 perches, more or less, being Lots 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 176, 177, 178, and 179 on D.P. 67, and Lot 1 on D.P. 15488, being portions of Allotment 52, Tahawai Parish, together with Allotments 52B and 52C, Tahawai Parish, formerly parts of Church Street and Fourth Avenue, closed by Proclamation published in Gazette No. 73 of the 23rd August, 1906, page 2224, and bounded as follows: Towards the north-east by Third Avenue, 875 links; towards the south-east by Lots 37 and 30 on plan 67, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, and Major Street, 900 links; towards the south-west by Stone Street, Allotments 52A and part 52, Tahawai Parish, 947·2 links; towards the north-west by part Allotment 52, Tahawai Parish, 400 links; towards the north-east, north-west, and south-west by Fourth Avenue, 222·2, 100, and 250 links; and again towards the north-west by Lot 180 on plan 67, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, 400 links: be all the aforesaid linkages a little more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/33, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington and thereon edged red. IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

James Ashworth,
John Fitzpatrick,

Thomas Henry James,
Henry May,
John Davies McCracken, and
John Smellie Russell

to be the Leithfield Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Thursday, the twentieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Oddfellows’ Hall, Leithfield, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.


SCHEDULE.

LEITHFIELD DOMAIN.—CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.

RESERVE 3595, Block IX, Teviotdale Survey District: Area, 46 acres.

Also Reserve 4124 (formerly part of Rural Section 22380), Block IX, Teviotdale Survey District: Area, 8 acres.

The Eastern Side of Portion of Vincent Street, in the City of Auckland, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 21st day of May, 1929.

Present:

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE SIR J. G. WARD, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Auckland City Council on the seventh day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, viz.:—

“The Auckland City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Auckland, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to that portion of Vincent Street adjoining Lots 1 and 2 of Allotments 1 and 2, Section 30, City of Auckland”;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the eastern side of the portion of Vincent Street (described in the Schedule hereto), within a distance of twenty-seven feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.


SCHEDULE.

THE eastern side of all that portion of street situated in the North Auckland Land District, City of Auckland, known as Vincent Street, fronting Lots 1 and 2 of Allotments 1 and 2, Section 30, City of Auckland. As the said portion of street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 74940, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
